glad the patch is so huge... even tho the nerfs to necromancer's CoD really weakened the build i wanted to play I dont really care! So what? still going to play auramancer and boost my friends through auras and they will appriciate it even tho they won't kill shaper in 2 sec!
So basically i read through last 2 pages and saw people crying how the game is nerfed... This league was the first time i had enough currency to go strong CI build (Frost blades pathfinder) and practically for few EX i could farm every content very fast (waaaay to fast). I was at the point I didnt really care about getting better weapon or 6L ES Armor with 4 offcolors just to get over 10k ES! basically the game was tooooo easy.
Pizza totems etc. were just crazy strong. some were cheap and could already kill shaper with basically few Chaos and do all content basically worry-free. some were expensive but usually had way better clear speed and dmg then those cheap ones (still it was all about whether they killed a map boss in 2 sec or 5 sec).
So all I wanna say is 2.6 way way too easy and got boring quickly. This league I am looking forward to see new builds that dont one shot everything and make PoE more RPG then Killing simulator 2017. I still wanna see PoE in a way that we actually need to know the game and mechanics and also gear and build well to kill content, not simply smash through and fight over whether strand is ran in 1 min or 1 min 1 sec...
I also wanna see new acts as it was boring for me to go through same areas and acts over and over again so this is very good addition no matter how good or bad they are.
So people crying about not being able to one shot bosses... get over it. Try to get the feeling of accomplishment when you actually killed a guardian or shaper (for example I ran last league a blade furry build but had no currency so it was not that OP but could farm maps. I tried shaper several times and failed but in a period of time I got better gear which was not op but got used to mechanics of shaper and once I killed him it felt rly good. this league I face tanked shaper and didnt rly care and it got boring quickly).
Its a bit long but you guys really should think about what the patch brings in terms of gameplay, new builds and simply saying RF GOT NERFED SO IT CANNOT FACETANK double SHAPER's LASER SO THIS PATCH IS HORRIBLE is not valid and you should rly try some other RPG with cheats on since this was 2.6 with most builds.
Ok? They just heavily increased boss life across the board. If it is the same as Beta then bosses will have 3x life they did before 3.0. So, those uber fast boss killing builds would take 3x longer EVEN IF there were no nerfs. However, every build that was extremely powerful has just been nerfed, aside from Barrage but barrage takes a lot of currency to become uber strong anyway. Necro support was there to boost those non-meta builds to make it so that newer players could progress easier. My necro, which i fully geared by the end of Breach league, is still only level 94. Why? because i used it to boost new players through acts. To me, it was extremely satisfying to watch these builds that were just starting out become fairly strong. Now, the necro buffs are virtually worthless compared to that of a Guardian for this. Guardian grants a vast amount of survivability and as we all know it's either Clear fast or die in this game. The Guardian also grants 10% increased effect of Auras AND 15% cast/atk/movement on a Warcry, which is comparable to the Necro in dmg now. If we also take on the fact that Necro Support just lost roughly 30% of their ES it becomes fairly clear that their survivability also just took a massive hit. My Necro has 10k es with discipline up. This is because i use Alpha's Howl and a Prism Guardian in order to produce 12 constant auras + 3 vaals. A Guardian would have significantly more + regen + armor + free warcry. Now, people will choose the play Guardian 99% of the time. It just switched from being Necro support to being Guardian Supp.
how exactly is guardian dmg boost same as necro's? sure they lowered it quite a lot but still you should get at least 5% atk*cast speed per aura + all the auras!

1. Is it local or global ? hope/guess its global, lacking "with this weapon"
2. does it have standard 4s cooldown?
3. does it trigger Berserk's War Bringer ?
4. is it supported by socked gems ?

Comments glorifying GGG have usually cheap players, who has low level characters and invested to their characters minimum. Never reached end game so they are happy with nerf because nerf doesn't bother low levels.

1. Everything on weapons are local, unless specified otherwise
2. It isn't a separate skill, is it?

4. Like any triggered skills, why would it be different?
5. It is an aura, so yes
6. The aura is on you, so it will nullify it, or just don't work. You don't use Generosity on Heralds, do you?
Tukohama's buffed... when it was already the best shield in the game for its builds?
Really? Thats not balance. Looks like reddit politics masquerading as balance.
Kind of sucks I just dropped 600 fuse to try and 6 link my searing touch only to see it nerfed. I suppose I should have just gone Cheiftan Tukohama meta fire totem build.
