[3.6] Milky's Scorching Ray Totems (updating process)

well lets say a enemy deals 3k damage, the berserker will take 3300 and the chieftain 2760.

double that to 6k dmg and you receive 6600 dmg on a berserker and 5520 on a chieftain.

In scenarios where we could take a huge hit the berserker is definetly safer.

such a 6k hit can be close to a oneshit on a berserker, especially if you're not at full health.

In emergencys i recommend Forbidden Taste which heals you back to full health in that scenario

with volatiles changed that scenario is way rarer.

With steady, mediocre incoming damage the berserker has the edge with his warcry heal (which is basically a bubbling flask on steroids).

I would say the most dangerous stuff in hc is getting oneshotted and the chieftain is safer against that

Talking about Berseker, how's the totem degen when you dont have the Chieftain node? Is POF needed for the build?

nah PoF is not needed at all. resists are capped with all the totem cluster we specc and thats enough uptime.

currently on beta its even better but might be bugged and changed until release

here you can see the degen in 2.6 and 3.0.
I would expect the 2.6 degen in 3.0,but the change might also be intended.

Part 1 and 2 are done now done for the leveling playthrough.

obviously contains some 3.0 spoilers since its on the beta client and a few things changed in the first acts etc

Act 1
Act 2

currently uploading act 3 and after that act 4

not doing more than that, because after that point its just playing rf totems with increased power every level ;) The most important part is to get to that point.

The voice should be louder through the end of act 2, sorry about that (used another mircrophone)

The tankier totems means berserker might be more viable to go right off the bat,

but not only did the 45% life hit but RF also got a nerf.

Are we sure the totem life nerf wasn't already in the beta? Seems like all these changes aren't anything new...

If not, then wtf GGG. This game isn't gonna be fun if we sit during a T15 boss encounter for 10 mins. Sigh.
