I was fearing that u didnt dare to chance mechanics so drasticly, but im impressed that u did what i think is needed :) And the new affixes, defence/life, and dodge/phys/energy regen, is really cool! :) Looking forward to the beta to try it out :) |

My opinion...
Just outright REMOVE VP!! Then add more ways for us to scale Leech Rate and % Maximum leech. Make it so if we want damn near instant leech but not quite we have to invest in it. Invest in say 10 or so leech nodes. The leech nodes existing on the tree of course have SOME of the modifiers but that's the problem even if you invest in all these nodes and even go to extremes such as using Vorici Bases (% leech rater up to 40%) crafted you still have leech that is not going to really do as much as the investment into should be doing. And why do all that when i can simply invest into ONE NODE and have it all instant anyway? Thats the change i would like to see. Remove VP and give more investment options that are worth doing to beef up leech to the point it actually noticeably makes your leech better and even make the rate where its close to instant if you really invest in it to do so but still leeching at a set rate. Leech is already a strong mechanic and its no secret that VP totally breaks that mechanic. And stopping it from working on ES will do nothing but make it so life builds do all the facetanking. And since ES is an option people have to invest in no one will because you're still not gonna be able to facetank like you can with a life build with VP. VP is the biggest problem more so imo than ES scaling right now. Otherwise... Welcome to Path of Bezerker everyone... There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation. Weird changes .... :(
The balance team is always overnerfing stuff instead of clever balance. Instead of changing items (more legacy craps and so no): - just reduce some ES nodes, limit energy jewel to 1 or so - change CI into chaos damage cannot bypass ES or smth like that - ghost reaver should work with CI but with less effectivity - VP - doesn´t work with CI but still the same for life what´s the point? I see no buffs for life (just a bit of extra life on body) and/or rebalanced monster´s damage spikes. It would be so easy to buff life getting per level, buff strength/life ratio and/or add some +xx life passives and keep CI unique and competitive. |

" You mean those which will now have like 3-4k ES? With GR it's like 600-800 ES leeched per sec maximum. Yeah, very playable. Permanently sorry for bad English :D
