I think GGG can be billionaire by harvesting salt from this thread and sell it

GGG will do there normal dumb shit they will release new statements about how there is strong demand to change the notes released after telling us before that there was huge demand for major change to es and then settle for some pointless nerf thats not even a nerf its like watching trump

ES is rekt.
I hate the fact that this will create more legacy. IGN: Pumar, Pumam , PumarR , PumaPunch , PumaWander , PumaCleave, PumaSlams

There were some changes needed in ES versus life, definitely true, but I feel these particular changes are sweeping and radical.
CI needs a larger EHP than life because of how vulnerable it is: its sensitivity to stun, little to no damage mitigation or evasion, delay in ES regeneration, no flasks, ... The 25k+ ES example is just disingenuine: the great majority of players will not even reach half that amount, of that very specific and hyperexpensive build with temporary buffs (vaal discipline) up. I feel there should have been some middle ground in ES leech, instead of rendering it completely obsolete: nerf vaal pact halfway (for example set a reduced efficiency of ES leech or a maximum amount of ES leech per hit), instead of simply removing it for CI. All the whine babys here... omg. You remind me of the D3 community when i read through the Messages.
How about first test things and give feedback that's worth something, instead you instantly begin to cry because your OP builds got nerfed and you don't know how else you can beat the game. Let me tell you this: I have a lot of respect for GGG and their way to improve this game. They got balls bc they knew before this announcement that the cry babys will come. GGG - Only developer with balls! Vi Veri Viversum Vivus Vici

Well, i rarely say something, but this dissapoints me.
As a rather casual player, the numbers mentioned are utopical to me. 6k Life or 11-12k ES is what i get on my builds. And so far, i found them quite balanced actually. I paid for higher ES with not having lifeflask, the need to do something about stun/freeze, and no armor/ES. Actually, right now i play a lifebased char that is pretty tanky. You might say: well, you don't need to facetank. But actually, with some skills, i DO have to facetank. Namely: channeling. People already mentionend Whispering Ice. The better builds on that where not OP, since Endgame bosses still deal too much damage to facetank them, but at least you can tank them shortly to deal some damage. This nerve makes it impossible to use the skill properly (i mean, the pyre-nerve already reduced its strenght). If lifebased characters missed possibilities that ES based chars have, why not giving them those options? Why again taking builds out of the Meta? Some might say: "Well, not every build is endgame-viable". Well, then those builds are not viable at all, since pretty much no build works while leveling (the mechanics work only after a certain level). So by nerving, you drastically reduce the number of builds that are viable AT ALL, and thereby kind of ruin the unique strenght of the game (huge number of cool, unique builds). This shall not be a ragecomment, i like the work GGG does on the game, and i am just one, casual player. But it IS frustrating. |
