How's your dps going tho?
I'm currently running Frost blade -> Elemental damage on attacks -> multi -> added cold -> elemental focus and I'm sitting on ~53k dps with hatred + summon ice golem (not running herald of ice cause of arctic armor which feels way better) and ~100k with frenzy, ancestral protector, onslaught and diamond flask. Maps up to 11(didn't go further yet) are extremely easy and with 4.3k life + vaal pact it's pretty hard to die to anything but oneshots. I used cold pen for a few mins and the damage was way lower, so was the tooltip dps

not anywhere closed to yours. lol. I am still grinding and working up the passive tree. and also currencies to fund for another Touch.

yeah. Tooltip will definitely report less.

Having a pretty good league start so far.

~100k dps buffed, not even up to yellow maps yet. Need to work on gem links.

Is Cold Penetration Support there for boss clearing?
Because I'm getting better map clear with Added Cold Damage Support. (tbh it is even better against bosses)

The main discussion people have is icebite vs Cold pen. *not Cold damage support. On paper Icebite gives more dps then Cold pen (not a lot tho) but in the endgame. Cold Pen is more Dps with higher resistant mobs. The thing people need to understand is not everything is a guide or build is 100% needs to be this way. If you like one thing other then another. Then do it. Its your toon. You enjoy it the way YOU want.

I will be doing another update to the guide on Wednesday. Ill try to clarify certain things again but you can only answer the same question so many times.

Hi! Can anyone explain to me why the recommended uniques are so expensive? I decided to play this build because I saw in the title of build - "cheap", but in fact claws and armor costs more than 80 chaos
Or is it really cheap?
Unfortunately it is too expensive for me now, so could you tell me the best alternative or smth :) thx a lot for build

it used to be pretty cheap but many ppl play this build currently and some of the core items are always expensive at the start of a league, since they are needed for quite a few amount of builds. The build is still relatively "cheap" for the dps it delivers, which is round about 300chaos or 6 ex if you don't calculate the flasks which are always expensive for every build.

I compared prices with a standard league where claws cost about 50 chaos, so i guess this price always too high.

They don't. OP is wrong.

They do, you need 2 ToA to have 20% chance to freeze then aka Shatter from HoI giving the curse. Before you have ToA you blasph ass mark and dont use HoI or just sub out Ele Focus
