" I PoBed it, and a Blood Rage at level 10 with 20% gives us 15% attack speed. Removing the expensive belt from Rico's PoB template and replacing it for said level ten 20% Blood Rage changed his template's attack speed from 4.57 attacks per second to 4.87. While mapping (or while fighting a boss that has adds) the Frenzy charges we get would just be icing for some extra damage on top of it though those who took Elemental Equilibrium wouldn't see much out of the Frenzy charges. |

" That's the kicker though. Once the build is up and running, it basically destroys anything that isn't a major boss, and EE is a significant DPS boost for that and they rarely have alot of adds. Also, I'm pretty sure POB does not take into account Mjolner's internal cooldown, so you need to make sure you are getting the right amount of CDR with your charges, otherwise, you aren't actually seeing any dps increase in the actual game. " Frenzy charges wont break EE as cold dmg added to spells wont break it. What matters is having cold dmg and only cold dmg to melee attacks. How is degen with blood rage? Latest guides:

" Unexistant. Trigger it manually and see your HP not move. So it can be considered a free 15% attack speed perhaps to reach certain APS thresholds. The extra Frenzy charges are icing on the cake -if- you're sure they won't trigger EE. in any case they will never amount to much since they'll always discharge before they get the chance to accumulate. Unrelated, I toyed with adding a CWDT stone golem and it reduced the RF degen to something like 150 HP a second without flasks. So barely noticeable too and almost worthy of keeping up all the time. Unrelated as well, with Cyclone's movement becoming a bit old I wanted to check Molten Strike. Cyclone is nice, but it's slow and we move where ever and can be locked into it when we want to go the other way. MS also lets us be stand our ground and spam letting us think of some alternatives, like the sulphur flask that does Consecrated Ground (4% HP regen, was it?) and the pantheon minor that does another 2% HP regen if we're not moving. I don't know how much more HP regen do we really need/want beyond what we're getting from Kingsguard, but each hit and each ball from MS triggers the LoH from the gem. Just a quick and dirty test -without- Kingsguard (and mauling my resistances to try two Wildfire gems)but with a Tabula Rasa, molten strike, multistrike, fortify, blood magic, life gain on hit, and two Wildfires (maybe not needed) alone I could keep my HP up in a T12 map (I can't tell the mods since it was unIDed corrupt and rare). Discharge was also triggered by the actual hit and then each ball as it landed. That's 7 MS balls though not all are going to land on a boss, but still, HP stayed up and I think I only died really because my resistances were no longer capped and I opened an unIDed rare box. But do we need more HP regen? I've been out-healed in ele reflect maps though my gear isn't finished and I'm just 71 with 3.7k HP still (so many HP nodes to take yet...) so perhaps I'd say yes but I'm the guy being offered here a 5 star meal and asking for ketchup ;p I wanted to check if Cyclone and LoH managed to do the same but didn't think of slotting it into the Tabula Rasa and test. @CedricDur remember that MS breaks EE as you deal fire damage, so +50 fire res for mobs and you lose a lot of damage.

I wanted to try something. I want to drop Elemental Focus, so Discharge can shock again.
But it's hard to estimate the damage increase from shock. How does PoB calculate this; is it always at 50%, if my average hit is 150k, what would the average shock effect be on bosses? " You need to crit or chance to shock (unless you go elementalist). The other big deeps support is controlled destruction which is a more damage loss. Not likely worth it esp. vs high hp boss where you need it most. e: point being you would need to crit with a discharge that expends max power charges. Even if you could reliably do that you would need to chunk 10% hp for 50% increased dam try doing that on shaper. Also this prior discussion of blood rage: there are ways to get 15%ias that don't give you a 4% life/s degen. For example swap lgoh for added accuracy (actually ideally you swap acc for blood magic if you have mana on hit gear and a bit of a mana pool). Blood rage is also counter productive to maintaining rf which is one of the big multipliers needed to achieve the single target damage people endlessly shit on this build for not having (even though it does). " The important factor with shock is how much dmg you deal with single hit vs targets hp, or how large is the % of life removed by your lightning dmg. If its bellow certain point you wont apply shock no matter what. Just to save you some math this build can shock up to t12 bosses and some t13. Forget about shocking Guardians/Elders/Shaper.
