or I would have to use dual wield ichimonjis but that is a super cooked version

The league mechanic is mostly a bust for me and the endgame sucks as a filthy casual player so I'm not grinding maps at all. However this gave me plenty of time to grind out 2 Oni-Goroshi Swords this league.

So after I surprisingly defeated Sirus with my Chaos Dot Trickster the other day, a character that I've almost given up on I kinda fell back in love with it. I carried together input and ideas from several similar builds and ended up with what feels like a pretty powerful endgame character. Obviously single traget dps is still not A Tier but I guess that just is the destiny of (chaos) dot builds in general. With a few tweaks and a little bit of tinkering by myself I almost doubled my dps since the last Sirus fight and feel tankier than ever.

As for cluster jewels I feel like I found a great combination with Touch of Cruelty for Hinder and Enemies take increased chaos damage and than Wish for Death for the Culling Strike against Cursed Enemies:

Is anyone playing a lightning based herald build?

I have one rolling at around 800-900k sirus dps, but the damage is way too low for simulacrum waves past like 16ish. How do people scale things like vaal arc or spark? Adding smite almost doubles my dps but.. it's kind of a 4 second buff I just don't see myself keeping this buff up all the time in simulacrums where it's already sketchy af to be standing still for anything.

You are running 5 x Purposeful + Heraldry and 1 x Purposeful + Endbringer.

Consider running 3 x Purposeful + Heraldry and 3 x Purposeful + Endbringer.

Eventually, when you get your hands on 2 x Voices, you can run 3 x Purposeful + Heraldry and 4 x Purposeful + Endbringer and 1 x Purposeful + Replenishing Presence.

You can also go for 5 x Purposeful + Endbringer instead of 4 + 1 Replenishing Presence.

It appears that you are missing a small cluster jewel with Pure Might. You can look into that.
