The Bow was just a pure luck roll with an Alchemy, it's too low an ilevel to invest much currency in, but I figured I could afford an Alchemy or two, and ... that was the result. It's still not all that good, but it'll do until I can find a higher ilevel base.

The Southbound gloves aren't quite what I was looking for, but since I'm working on an Ice Shot ranger, there's at least some synergy there, so I'm going to give them a try. On the other hand, sometimes I'll get a crit with my first shot and a whole field of mobs will simply shatter. So ... mixed results.

Also, since I'm not likely to EVER have a 6L any other way, I did farm up one of these:

Dunno what to do with it (obviously), but since it's likely to be harder to acquire in future leagues I figured I'd grab one.

You realize that bow is pretty good for SSF, you crafted the wrong affix on it why would you craft +Cold when you can craft +Phys. Read your own Ice Shot Gem. Damage conversion, you need good physical damage base to make that happen. So must wasted potential in tree :x

Hmm... well, generally I have a lot of cold and elemental damage in my passive tree, but perhaps you're right. I'll try physical as soon as I get Tora to level 7 (which will be a few more days).

No, I don't use sunder. I use Split Arrow (with pierce and various other support gems) until I get GMP, then I switch to Ice Shot. I usually use Barrage or Blast Rain for single target. Yes, it can be a bit of a slog sometimes. A10 Kitava in particular.

Spent $%*@ amount of currency crafting this - wanted %lightning leech. This is way harder than expected. Chance for a prefix to roll it (on ilvl 79 which it is) is prob ~1%.

Mirage Archer is kinda made for leveling with bow.
