Did some uber lab today to see if with Pledge of Hands + (low) dodge I could be tanky for lab. This part worked very well. Izaro/Argus easy facetank. But Spark is really bad vs Izaro adds for extra keys. Maybe with enough tinkering and practicing it would be possible to not kill adds. Plan is to use different skill (probably Incinerate) for lab though.

In my own slow, plodding fashion, I have finally reached the mapping stage of the game. I've acquired these two things:



The Bow was just a pure luck roll with an Alchemy, it's too low an ilevel to invest much currency in, but I figured I could afford an Alchemy or two, and ... that was the result. It's still not all that good, but it'll do until I can find a higher ilevel base.

The Southbound gloves aren't quite what I was looking for, but since I'm working on an Ice Shot ranger, there's at least some synergy there, so I'm going to give them a try. Some of the time they seem to help, some of the time ... something won't freeze and I end up with a mob that has one hit point wandering around for a while. On the other hand, sometimes I'll get a crit with my first shot and a whole field of mobs will simply shatter. So ... mixed results.

Also, since I'm not likely to EVER have a 6L any other way, I did farm up one of these:


Dunno what to do with it (obviously), but since it's likely to be harder to acquire in future leagues I figured I'd grab one.

Hmm... well, generally I have a lot of cold and elemental damage in my passive tree, but perhaps you're right. I'll try physical as soon as I get Tora to level 7 (which will be a few more days).

No, I don't use sunder. I use Split Arrow (with pierce and various other support gems) until I get GMP, then I switch to Ice Shot. I usually use Barrage or Blast Rain for single target. Yes, it can be a bit of a slog sometimes. A10 Kitava in particular.

Found another Lich and skipped it. Skipping Lichs due to unexplained insta RIPs is not fun. Dont want to throw my main to RNG death so considering to make a char just for lich.

Spent $%*@ amount of currency crafting this - wanted %lightning leech. This is way harder than expected. Chance for a prefix to roll it (on ilvl 79 which it is) is prob ~1%.

After farming maps with 3 different characters I have the feeling the game is trying to tell me to set up yet another one :(



I'm currently playing a Scorching Ray trickster with Balefire but I thought about doing some low life variant. Still not sure because Solaris Lorica doesn't even come close to Shav's. Any thoughts on whether it could work?
