How is ssf going for u guys/girls? ^^

T17 map. The build has the weakness that it needs "The Immortal Will" to be up. Not sure what exactly happened but my most likely guess is that it wasnt up at the time due to not enough channeling before that. "Player error" == not enough channeling before engaging mobs.

Edit: Its also quite possible to RIP in T16 with such builds, just needs a few hard mods and clicking the wrong Altar. Remeber taking dangerous damage to a "boss gains extra & penetrates resists" Altar in Toxic Sewers in Necro Settlers.

I see. How was the harbinger ascendancy? I was going to try it out, but was a bit worried about that sort of thing and trying Polytheist instead.

My build is also cyclone CI, but no where near as powerful as what you had going. Looks like it was a cool build.

I'm also using ghost dance, is that what you are talking about with the alters? Anything else I need to watch out for with that? Other than map mods. My base evasion comes almost entirely from Grace. So im wondering if there is anything else that can drastically reduce my evasion or interrupt my aura.

My impression is that it is very "niche". Some nodes (the extra ES and Channeling one esp) are strong but only for those builds leveraging them.

It played much better than my EE CI Necro Settlers Blade Trap build. Unfortunately it didnt have good DPS though. Not sure if that (DPS low) would have been fixable, I yoloed it without proper planning.

Only things I am aware of:
1) Misclick on aura icon, weapon swap, removing gear, that kind of thing.
2) Reduced effect of auras map/area mod, especially with inc effect of map mods.
3) "Reduced defenses per Frenzy" (sp?) Altar mod.
Theres also "Less Defenses" T17 mod but it will lessen ES also.

Maybe a little leveling experiment next week or so, would need a good build idea for it though.

So I checked my Idols and dont have enough good Abyss XP idols. And there is some bad bugginess with Abyss that often they dont appear, if I do 1 Abyss from Idols and 2 from Kirac then on average I only get 2 per map, this isnt limited to a single layout either. So the leveling experiment doesnt look good.

My build is going well now. Damage isn't great, but its handling red map well. Cheers for the advice. Gotta keep making sure I don't click those reduced defense alters.
