You are once again talking nonsense. Stat stick builds, aka casters are the core part of the game, they won't change in a way of using weapons as base damage, but it doesn't even matter since most attack skills look like spells nowadays.

Also, don't really see anybody else complaing as much, and as offensively as you, and most of them already realised blaming players is completely useless, your wishes towards players crippling their own builds to not be op is just NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. You should aim your complaints toward GGG, because without them, nothing will change in a good way.

Your arguments are also however mostly correct, aiming them to players just invalidates them, because you are also using mechanics that are controversial, but act like you are not one of them.

well after reading the same thing for i dunno 13289046312574 time. I think that whatever thread we could start ( lets say : PVP OPOP) u would have the same comment over n over that i could resume this way:

Before the latest DLC for Dark souls 3 there was no PvP rankings at all. You just summoned people to fight and no one but the people present knew the outcome. Then a community member had the idea to create a bot that ran in a discord channel that people would use to organise PvP matches and keep track of wins and losses. The same thing happened in the original starcraft, there were no official rankings so someone created Iccup to keep track of matches. This type of initiative is what needs to happen for PvP to become less shitty in POE. We need to set our own rules, make our own ladder and keep track of things by ourselves, reason being PvP won't make GGG money so any work they put into it is a loss. If someone in the community wanted to take charge and head up something like this I think we would see an increase in the amount of PvP participants.

Well i think that it is a very good idea honestly.

But, it would be really hard to do the same in POE for 2 reasons.

RULES: How could we (The small PVP group) agree on rules to respect, cuz obviously some stuff need to be nerf/remove but others enjoy abusing them or would ague that its fair using those.

RESPECTING THE RULES: I don't see anyway possible to make sure that no one is cheating the rule if we are banning some mechanic or some item (could be solve by pvp must have open profile) but it would not be a 100% effective way cuz we all know about all the gears swap ppl have.

I could swear we had a discussion around "making our own rules" and "why it wouldn't work" because of pvp having too many skills unaffected by damage scaling. We need GGG to stop being lazy fucks and fix their pvp before we can do anything. I feel like we're largely powerless. I mean, no amount of bitching about EA ever stopped Lib from using it, so I can't imagine us setting our own rules would work. Plus,we'd have to all settle on what rules everyone finds fair, and good luck with that lol
