Yea, BAck just before or at 2.0 they changed weapons dps, even mirrors got affected. I owned a very old 700 dps phy sword which passed to 683 after the patch. Sold it 30 ex after buying it 140 lol.

I think we just need counter items, items to counter specific skills and items like talismans. I always dreamed GGG would give us an elem reflect items different than this tamu shield working on block but none think it s a good idea .

I used to read all patch notes of whatever game I was playing and those patch notes remind me why I stopped doing that after a few Poe leagues :)

About guides for cheap builds for pvp:
Several people have posted their builds in the past, these were often builds that could scale well with additional gear acquired so you didn't have to finish the game to play the game. But without a sticky and someone managing the list as in the class forums, only the people that saw the guide posted will know that it exists. A new player passing by, will just be able to find the few build guides currently being discussed.

Greater visibility for old build guides won't increase accessibility however. A build guide requires someone to roll and gather equipment for an entirely new character, which many wouldn't do even if pvp was in a better shape. And with how pvp is now, almost noone will subject himself to it I think.
