You can replace LA with any bow skill in the game it does not really matter. They all work fairly amazing when youre shooting 8+ arrows.

Hi. First of all, thanks for a great build.
I can't figure out, why pob said that doomfletch prism is better in terms of dps for me, instead of death's opus.
I know that my gear is bad(likely this is the reason), so the question is: what exactly from your gear makes death's opus better then doomfletch? I played alot with your pob and still can't figure out.(tried to disable gear, gems, etc, but for your pob, death's opus is still better :))

Been loving this build. Doing T11 Beach Heads for xp. What would you recommend upgrading next? Single target damage is lacking a little bit on higher level map bosses.

Ran this up to 95 and counting, taking time off from beachheads to finish 40/40 and kill some bosses. Think I'll take it to 100 this league before they nerf breachheads. Great build.

Had a few questions on itemization, in POB I have ~850k Barrage DPS on shaper. I went in and do shred his HP with my current gear, but I ripped the set in the third phase due to not being able to push each phase fast enough and dying (read: not dodging). Any advice on gearing priorities from here out, I haven't touched any of the gear I'm wearing since I could equip them. Would love to crack 1M dps on shaper, have a bunch of currency saved up for pimping out this build.

Re: Fangs of Frost/Sniper+BowCrit nodes, I have no enchant on my boots currently, so I took Fangs of Frost and use the DoFL/IceBite/AddedCold setup mentioned. When I imported my char into path of building, it said that dropping Fangs and taking the BowCrit and Sniper clusters were point for point more DPS. Should I change around the barrage setup?

Finally-- Wise Oak flask for this build, is it worth trying to balance, or would just having Light/Cold overcapped be enough?

Doomfletch was the same or equal to opus in terms of barrage dps and this was without any flat phys on gear so with a small investment it would be the strong option.

Well first, upgrade your flasks to 20 quality then get some more elemental or WED affixes on your rings and amulet. You will get a decent dps boost by the time your gems reach level 20 and a bit more by 20/20.

Current Gear, Looking for Upgrades/Reitemization

Shaper is first a dps check which you should already pass at 850k dps and second, a skill check which has nothing to do with gear but rather experience with the mechanics of the boss. Are you flasking during the dps window where he does his shaper beam? Going through the sub areas quickly so he does not regen too much life? Take a look at my 2 shaper vids, the first one did not rely on pushing him quickly to the next phase with I think less dps than you have now.

Gearwise you stand to gain A LOT of power with a better belt and amulet. I have seen exponentially better ones going for a few chaos. They both seem outrageously bad compared to the rest of your gear.

Wise oak can work but I do not like the idea of overstacking cold by 60 or so points because it wastes a lot of affix power that could be spent on life or dps. it's really a shame because my resists are 76/77/77 so id just need one more point of fire res to fully synergnize with oak, assuming i used taste of hate somehow as well.

DPS wise, use what ever POB tells you yields the most dps. Once your gear is on par with mine, the numbers should align but until then, other combinations of passives and gems may be better. Obviously it would be impossible for me to list every variation of socket amount or gear thresholds so I gave everyone the most optimal version.

Finally, if all else fails pick up a chin sol as it has 34% more barrage dps than even an opus but requires you to be in point blank range which you often will be anyways.

That was for an earlier version of the tree. Take up to aspect of the lynx by going through bow crit and attack speed nodes instead of fangs of frost if you have lightning damage boot enchant and ALD+light pen instead of ice bite and ACD.

Thanks man. For me personally grabbing Acuity upped my DPS the most in builder. Also i assume 9141k is a typo and you mean 914k under ele pen dmg?

Acuity is mostly pointless for this build, how is it boosting dps outside of the minor crit chance?

yes that was most certainly a typo! good catch.

Getting to the acuity node gives 9% attack speed and i needed some extra accuracy i guess
