Content Update 2.5.0 Patch Notes

Good changes overall, though i am not sure if the Mjölnir nerf was necesarry, but well.

Well lets gorge on the tears of those that cry that their priced items/builds got nerfed so hard that they are unplayable (which were basicly 0 this patch).

I try to think about something nice to say to those people that feel cheated cause their expensive items got nerfed, but whats the point? they lost their value the moment the league ended. Everyone starts anew at friday. You can find more broken stuff on standard than Nerfed Cospris/mijölnir ~~

1. Elemental raider dmg buff and QoL improved, good
2. Melee range and targeting fixed, good
3. Intended scorching Ray build overall improved, good
4. Srs probably nerfed hard, but lets see how it plays, specially in single target.
5. Intended mjolner build: nevermind, ggg can't set their mood about this weapon
6. Bv/wormblasters flask exploit ages probably ended, lets see how player figure out this, probably overflowing chalice Will be a thing now.
7. Blade flurry slight nerf to speed and major nerf to targeting area seems to be precise

Well, overall excited about 2.5 balance changes.
Lovely. Except it won't matter a damn bit to me if the huge, glaring, game-breaking client bugs that have existed since 2.4.2 aren't fixed. And at this rate, it looks like GGG has no intention of getting them fixed before the Breach launch.

This is going to be the worst league launch in recent history, trumping all the problems that came with the Perandus and Prophecy leagues. At least the problems with those came up only after launch - GGG already knows there are huge outstanding issues with previous patches and it seems like they're just going to go ahead anyways in spite of quite a few people flat out not being able to play the game at all due to unresolved bugs.
People who don't like the Labyrinth are not a minority: Be heard - say you don't like it in your signature. Don't leave complaining about lab to others - GGG needs to see how many people dislike it. Ascendancy must be gated on true ARPG content, not a poorly-crafted internet Legend of Zelda wannabe.

Level 8: Nemesis

No Torment mod for Scold's Birdle... lets hope people play Perandus, possible to get through Cadiro.

You need only 20 Spirits now to deal the full damage instead of 50, unless you use auras like wrath/anger which add flat damage its a buff, even more so since you can reach the cap easily without using spell echo, which in return is even more of a buff to raw damage.

Unless i am missing something very crucial this change is a huge quality of life improvement.
Why mjölner tho? I know i'm not the first to say this but i feel like i have to, so one more person shows salt!


Let's see if i can make my dual mjölner build work with static strike.
I think easiest way to nerf pathfinder bv combo would have been to disable spell support for pathfinder ascendancy class or the flask charge gain on it even. No idea if anyone else would agree on this.
Thx GGG for nerfing again the mjolner. It'has been nerfed really hard in 2.4 but apparently mjolner builds aren't allowed to run more than tier 9-10 maps.
No buffs to Energy Shield?;(

So unless they've increased the life pool of the Spirits as well, they'll most likely melt as soon as they touch a reflect mob. No more reflect maps for my SRS :(
