" In the effort of sharing some unique trends and changes I've noticed from this leagues' additional nerf to the QotF, rotgut ends up being an overall better quicksilver flask in this guide because of the increased effect and amazing charge generation potential of this build. It's current form gives us 9 seconds of onslaught, and 7.2 seconds of 105+% increased movement speed. This means we can also have 100% onslaught uptime without the need for a gem or abyssal jewels, (so long as we have frenzy charges) including on bosses! This also allows us to use blind or phasing abyssal jewels instead since it will replace stibnite flask (though that 100% increased evasion rating will be missed). Having 10% chance to blind on hit from abyssal jewels means 100% uptime of blind on bosses EASILY, and a fairly regular amount on any other creature. At a 0.35sec attack time for barrage with 7+ hits from our barrage (easily obtainable) We have a 200+% chance for us to have them blinded every single second. There is in Syndicate a belt mod Prefix that allows 7-8% increased flask effect on you for 1 ex with NO DRAWBACKS, and a cheaper version for 2 chaos that has 8-10% increased effect with 20% reduced charges allowing you to drop the jewel and gain another jewel slot (or keep it for increased effectiveness of your flasks...). I really wish there was a way to add a Quartz flask to this build as 15-17% additional chance to dodge attacks and spells on this build with the ability to fly through enemies is no joke. ALSO, we can slap Hillock into Research and get 26-28% quality on our flasks this league! As well as some strange options for flask crafting in the crafting table for crit chance etc. I personally don't like the phase run skill (even if it's instant) as the phasing buff disappears the moment you use any skill and the movement speed with it. How does one reliably generate flask charges with this build? I find my Vinktars and Dying Sun flasks constantly out of uses on longer boss fights.
Also, how is this guide's standard league mana leech so high? Mine is only around 190 per hit, which I suppose is sufficient, but still perplexing. If I miss one or two barrages I'm completely out of mana. |

Rat's Nest is impossible to find with a +1 Barrage enchant on it, at what point does that become necessary? How far into mapping and end game could I go without it? I found it on a Starkonja's but I'm missing a lot of crit chance without the Nest.

We kill stuff and don't spam our flasks to often as we got a lot of flask duration. @Xenithos You got some good pointers, i was already working on a small update that covered some of those. -Exchanging Stibnite / onslaugt on jewels for Rotgut / blind on jewels is an option. Yet i'd stick to a regular Quicksilver, i want to be able to place smoke clouds at bossing with a regular stibnite, but i will test your setup and edit the guide if i like it. -I already got me a belt in betrayal with the flask effect mod and work on a better belt currently. This would allow us an additional Searching eye jewel. -+1 on quartz flask -Quality on flask is really nice but we barely will need that as a Pathfinder, but i still want those too :D, this might make non legacy vinktar more useable. -Also beeing ably to craft additional crit. chance on a diamond flask seems to be really helpful, to make room we can try to corr. a jewel to be corr. blood safe. We just have to vaal a nice jewel and be lucky. -If you want to swap out Atziri Steps might want to go for rare boots with the same chance to dodge, higher life roll and some resists that make room on the other item slots. how is the build at the end of the game for the t15, guardian shaper and uber elder. I am very interested but comments make me depress (lot of die, low dps pb etc ..) I have a good budget with 1000c and 20ex

How would you go about crafting a GG shaped wand? I have a pretty good wand but thinking about upgrading.
Also, I keep getting oneshot by random syndicate encounters.. I think it's usually when they have some op items or something because it's not all the time. My latency is quite high as well which makes the build really difficult to play. Anyone else getting oneshot by syndicate encounters? Or any tip on that? Do we need more chaos resistance? And another question.. what's the desired hit chance? I have 92-93% and for some reason it feels low. With about 31k unbuffed tooltip I still feel like the dps is too low. |
