So I have 25ex to spend and trying to find my next build, deciding between this and TS/barrage. Can 25ex get me shaper ready? I have a dying sun already as well. Is the 15ex helm enchant necessary?

If not, I assume it would be culling piscator + 6L qotf+vinktara as first purchases?

can anyone explain how do you check your dps in pob, i mean people said 2.5m dps, my dps 690k on barrage with 2 curses, i dont get it...

1. Yes.
2. No. You can save 7-8ex and use Starkonja's with +1 Barrage Projectiles.
3. Pretty much. Culling Piscator's if you wanna be fancy.

If you go with Starkonja's and regular Piscator's that would leave you with roughly 8ex to pick up a nice shield, gloves, opal rings, amulet, etc.

Is there a reason added lightning damage vinktar is preferred? POB shows penetration flask is around 10% more dps for me.

So this is my gear after a few days of farming. Going for Vaal Pact then the life node cluster by Point Blank on the tree. I've tried to find opal rings that give me more damage but haven't seen any good ones on the market yet. Where else should I upgrade? I guess I could try crafting better rings but have never really tried crafting before. Only other thing I can think of is life on my diamond ring but other than that not sure where to look for upgrades. Would a top roll piscator's equal more damage? Goal is shaper, not sure if my damage/life is good enough for that though

Lv 92 with the build currently and im sure im done with it, getting bored. Build did everything in the game easily.

Re: Gloves - I'm sure there have been a lot of discussion on 2 sock tombfists. Is it the best option if you have the jewels for it? Seems like even mediocre jewels with 10% intimidate damage would be best? Or rare gripped just satisfy too much need with life/res/acc?

Definitely for bossing, +1 barrage projectile is a very large DPS boost.

For example, in my PoB my rat's nest without +1 enchant gives ~1.29m shaper DPS with flasks
Devoto gives ~1.4 with +1 barrage projectile
Rat's nest gives ~1.48 with + barrage projectile

So, if you want to be able to kill shaper faster and overall faster bossing, I'd go with +1 on either Devoto or Starkonja if you need HP.

Rat's nest is just superior, especially for general clearing due to crit chance. But that's why it's so much more expensive.. I got mine for 12ex on a good day when others were 15ex, now I see lowest is ~18ex.
Sad, but it's better to get a much, much cheaper devoto/starkonja, and upgrade some other things perhaps, until there's only very expensive upgrades left - then go for Rat's nest.

What maps would you recommend for shaping as a wander? From Tier1-10. Just not sure what would be best atm.
