Can someone explain to me how OP has 194 intelligence with nothing equipped, where as I'm at 170? I see one node he has that I do not, and it adds 10. Where is the exact amount of 14 intelligence coming from?

Mathil said that immolate would be crazy dps boost for I think barrage or herald of ice because it would add the flat fire dmg to piscator, in case you can trigger fire dmg somehow for example from flat dmg on ring.

Well, i suppose you re returning old player, you should change your weapon for a good rare or just dont use legacy piscator it doesnt have % ele pen mod, you can check https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Piscator%27s_Vigil, and mathil is right if you are using piscator best boost is getting flat elemental damage almost all of your gear(because of this mod; "Attacks with this Weapon have (100 to 115)% increased Elemental Damage" ). if you have enough currency i recommend you to buy + barrage projectile helmet for next upgrade( ofc after getting 6L QoTF)
Ps: you are using spell vinktar swap it with "attack" one.

If piscator scales so well off of added cold dmg or even immolate, how should my barrage gems look then? I could drop slower proj but what else?

You can test on "PathofBuilding"(i would recommend you to use this app) which can tell you the best gem combination but you can use my gem setup just swap slower proj with added cold. your main boost are wrath(use with empower 4) , added lightning/cold damage support , flat rolls on your gear.

I find it very wierd that when crafting a wand in path of building i basically have to have 5-6x T1 rolls for it to be better then piscator's. May that be because i only have a WED roll on weapon and one ring?

Hey. Thanks for the build first of all, it's really fun and the clear speed is fast.
My dps on kb is 10k clean (no buffs or anything) and barrage is 5k clean

My gear below:

Things I know need upgrades:

max level gems, 6L QoTF, +2 barrage helmet, dying sun/vinktar, good wand, good gripped gloves

Things I'm not sure about: My current flask setup, my shield is not evasion based since I couldn't find one with enough resists that I needed while being affordable

I shaped Spider Forest to try farm up some currency but I struggle quite a lot with the boss on some mods and It's a risky run in general, can't say I'm smooth sailing with my gear.

I would absolutely love some guidance because I'm not sure what maps I should be running before I have good enough gear to be able to snooze through Shaped Spider Forest. Sorry for the formatting, first post on this forum.

tldr; how do I go from piss poor gear to being able to run Shaped Spider Forest to further enhance my gear with the currency I (hopefully) get from that map

I have 400c and dont know how best to spend them for upgrades. I know amulet/rings and gripped gloves are a good starting point but they are also extremely expensive, and im not sure if its better to gamble and try to craft those myself.

Is there any sure thing anyone can see with my gear that my 400c would definitely help to boost my DPS? I'm just trying to get ready to make some tries on Shaper.

Yeah for those guys it's all about mechanics. I've done all guardians (except for phoenix - hate him!) deathless with only 4.7k life and most likely a bit less dps than you have.
