[2.6] SignalShot™ CI Full Ele Conversion TS/Barrage / Shaper & Uber Deathless / with video!
" What would the 6l LA be like, since it already has crit chance in it? LA-inc crit chance-pierce-WED-PPAD-??? Pretty much finished buying gear now, so going to be starting the build fully now. Excited! |

What would the 5link barrage links be? Not sure what gem is the best out of the 6 listed.

" I would for sure run the legacy Vinktar, respec out of VP, and use the extra flask slot to run a dps flask (your choice of Atziri's Promise, Taste of Hate, or Wise Oak, ToH being the best of the three *unless* you manage to balance your fire and lightning resists by some miracle). |

I just wanted to show what you can do with an Opus (for those concerned about the sky high prices on Harbingers). Here is a level 98 character using the following dps gear:
The jewels all have 4 dps affixes, prioritizing attack speed with bows. Note that WED is the important affix on jewellry and belt. Flat physical damage is not as good, and a Diamond Ring can give as much dps as an Opal Ring or Steel Ring, and will usually give you more dps the higher your base physical damage due to diminishing returns. The gear I'm linking is on standard, but can be pretty affordable on legacy from the prices I've seen so far. Hideout tooltip on Barrage with auras and Golem (66.6K dps) Tooltip damage while mapping (143K dps): This dps comes as a result of flasks and Vaal haste. NO frenzy charges/Blood Rage, or 16% attack speed boot enchant, since those don't help versus Guardians/Shaper. The actual dps is calculated by multiplying the tooltip by: x 12 arrows x1.5 for point blank x1.3 (approximately) for penetration Vinktar shocks give 50% increased damage, but the multiplier this results in depends on your current increased damage - the higher your increased damage (from increased phys, WED etc) the less vinktar will boost dps. I will refrain from including it in the calculations here particularly because Shaper is immune, and T15 bosses and Uber Izaro get steamrolled as it is so the extra damage is overkill. So the final dps is actually: 143,000 x 12 x 1.5 x 1.3 = 3.35 million dps Note that this number is actually much higher because Diamond Flasks are not factored into tooltip dps. However, I think this is enough to give you an idea of just how devastating an Opus can be in the late endgame. A Harbinger that is over 350pdps will be better of course, but it will be far more expensive than a 5L Opus (and a 5L is all you need on an AoE clear skill; it's Barrage that needs a 6L). Also please note that Skyforth Boots are more quality of life than anything else, since you can have the full 5 Power Charges against Shaper and Guardians by using a Jaws of Agony in your second weapon slot. I don't see why this would be nerfed.. The gear required to make this build really op I.E. (Skyforth + Legacy reach/gg Harb) is well out of reach for the average player. Would be really sad to see this nerfed, I don't think it'd be justified.
Also as a request, I'm prospecting build for next league. Is there any way you can show some gameplay with the budget version of this build? Preferably showing how it performs vs Uber Atziri. I'd like to see the build vs these bosses with a non-legacy breach and no skyforths, if that's too much to ask (I can afford all the elite gear, but I want to know if this is a viable starter for next league). 6L Bow and Chest are fine, but yeah if you could do this for me I would greatly appreciate it! Is this currently viable in legacy? I have a currency farmer at the moment at lvl 90, and i am looking to make a good boss killing character for ~500c. Never played a bow character, so i am interested in this.
Thanks |

How much is needed to get started on this build? I have 8ex is that enough to start

" this build definitely does not need a nerf, it would be savage of GGG to nerf this build. it isn't that great to begin with and pretty lacklustre compared some to other builds with same currency investment MFJonesHC

" I would say it does not work all that well at 500c. Until I got the barrage enchant, dying sun, lots of WED on jewelry / belt and a 350 pdps harbinger along with 4 different 3 dmg prop jewels the damage just wasn't there. As Diceman says in this forum thread the survivability actually mostly comes from vinktar leech, which requires large dps to keep you alive in breaches etc. Without high enough dmg you'll die early and often, and that's where the price tag comes in specifically w the barrage enchant and dying sun for bosses. I can say however that Diceman helped me fine tune this build into what I have now, which essentially kills an uber izaro phase with 2 barrages for example. My current gear is linked below in case you'd like to check it out (P.S. intereting ammy I'm trying out at the moment). It's also worth mentioning Diceman's point about jaws of agony is crucial vs. Uber izaro and other bosses that often normally don't let you walk in with power charges. |

" In that case, with the stuff you actually show, Skyforth aren't only QoL. You don't have any anti stun mechanic, meaning you can't actually facetank dangerous bosses without getting stun. Same thing will happen in breaches if the map is correctly modded it's a rip. Anyway, I'm actually having a dilemma. I can map easily without too much difficulty but I can almost afford a double legacy RotC (30 ex, but keeping 10 for the rest of stuff I'll change at that time). The thing is I'm thinking about waiting since I'm not in a hurry and prices should drop in a week or two for legacy RotC and 900+ ES body. |
