Difficulty Levels in 3.0.0

The funny part is that through the entire height of its popularity, Diablo 2, the game PoE is most based on... was exactly 15 acts.

People are lazy and map-focused. I can't understand why. Maps are boring...
People who don't like the Labyrinth are not a minority: Be heard - say you don't like it in your signature. Don't leave complaining about lab to others - GGG needs to see how many people dislike it. Ascendancy must be gated on true ARPG content, not a poorly-crafted internet Legend of Zelda wannabe.

It's not a rumour, and you're rude af. GGG stated early on that their goal was ten acts. This is common knowledge.

I do apologize, sir.
Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more.

'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league.
Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave.
I hope they remove Merciless.
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_-

Sit back down Jimmy.
I hope its not same as D3, where monsters adjust to your level.
That's RUTHLESS! ;)

"Acts" are unnecessary as long as linear progression is just that, and not a re-hash of old content with new mechonix.

If the point of, say, The Coast is to introduce players to a bunch of grouped-up mobs that have a blue pack thrown in with a area boss that does a lot of burst, but hey guess what... the gear you currently have can be utilized in combination with ur l33t skillz to defeat said boss, but then you turn around in 3-4 hours of gameplay and make it so current gear and current skill isn't enough to beat Tinevan, substantial extra physical damage, and leapers, then people get discouraged fast.

This non-linear growth is detrimental to the game.

Having a truly linear, one-off progression system whereby players Deal With The Bandits once, it's a meaningful choice, they never see those (some dead/all dead) guys again, take what they learn from the Alira fight, and when they get to the next 3-pronged fork in the road (Help the Vaal Undersoul/Hinder the Vaal Undersoul/Steal the Heart of the Eternal), they know they need to be on they tippee-toes.

Repeating content is just bad design and is indicative of a group of individuals incapable of elucidating a fully-fleshed out background story, and reeks of amateurism.

The last 2 decades of ARPGs reeks of amateurism? It's just a staple of the genre. I get what you're saying and agree to a point, but even reusing content can still be scaled in a linear fashion.

Hopefully not! That's one of the most retarded game mechanics ever invented.
I cant understand why you guys not doing it with wow style. I mean, after 1 high level character why we still playing early game. There is no fun in scenario after 1 time.

But also, these news are great for me after 3 years of PoE play. Thanks a lot.
