[2.6] Life Elemental Lacerate/BladeFlurry Inquisitor, Great clear/Damage (Guardian/Shaper viable)
" I have a decent amount of currency sitting around, so i regeared a bit with some more health, while still keeping my resists capped out. I'm not sure how much health I should be looking towards trying to get, but right now im sitting on about 5.2k with this gear

thanks for the suggestion, I havent played in a few leagues and should probably have put more thought into my itemization
What do your jewels look like on the passive tree? A lot of people don't take into consideration how valuable getting a jewel with ideal stats can increase your dps. And that's what this build is all about really in a survivability way. If you aren't dealing large damage you aren't going to be able to sustain through high level breaches and maps very well.
Just looking through your updated gear I can see that your sword is a little weak on the APS. The elemental damage looks good, but the speed at 1.6 really slows down its momentum. You need to get 60-70 life on each piece of gear, and try to get a Rat's Nest if you want to use a piece of gear without life, as it balances out in a big damage output. |

" With this build, there's really no limit to how much health you want. The more you have, the better you'll be able to avoid getting one-shot or worn down. Ideally you'd switch your armor to Belly of the Beast. Best armor for a life-build. 5.2k is probably fine for the map tiers you're running right now. Eventually you'll want more as you progress into the upper tiers. I'm sitting at 6.2k now, which seems to be plenty to survive the big hits from Izaro, Guardian of the Minotaur, etc. Movement speed and dodging those attacks is important, but it's a good cushion to have to know they can be survived when you do get hit. " This is all good advice too. A 3-damage mod jewel can big a really strong damage boost. It may not be reflected much on the tooltip, especially if it's got attack speed rolls, but jewels are incredibly strong. Rat's Nest is perfect for this build. Crit Chance, Attack Speed, Movement Speed, and a strong evasion roll. Not expensive either, unless you're looking for a pre-rolled Blade Flurry enchantment. |

Awesome build, been using it since level 1. But, I've got 1 question: Should I use Lacerate or Blade Flurry? If it is dependant on my current gear, here it is ^^ :

" If you like Lacerate you're fine to use it, but Blade Flurry is stronger. I highly recommend finding a spot in your 5L for Increased Area of Effect though. It really really makes the playstyle smoother. El Psy Congroo. Last edited by Patchumz on Dec 24, 2016, 6:48:23 PM

Hey there! This question is posed at anyone familiar with the build, and sorry if it has already been asked. I'm fairly interested and I was just wondering, do you think this would be viable/better as a raider? It puts you close to some of the penetration nodes and I'm thinking the insane attack speed would scale really well with elemental. It also seems like a slightly more comfortable starting position.
Thanks for any help! | |
" Raider isn't very good. It's super fun for movement speed, but Inquisitor is much more DPS. We already get plenty of attack speed from the passives and jewels. You really don't need more. El Psy Congroo.

Hello, I am prepared to build, you have any idea how to spend the shield ?
how many dps i lost when i use 1h 1shield ? Thanks. ( i use google translate, so sr for my english :D)
" It wouldn't be viable without making major changes to your passive tree to get the most out of it, and by the time you did that you probably wouldn't even be considered in the same template. With this build, if it's played right, you shouldn't need a shield. With the node for instant life leech and the high damage output from Blade Flurry + Warchief, you should be at full life almost all the time outside of "o shit" moments, and even then you have to really make some serious mistakes or bite off way more than you can chew to die with this build prior to t10+. |
