[2.4 updates] Voltaxic Volley Fire Barrage Deadeye -- Well Barrage is now #1 Bow Skill

best case is if they increase # of projectiles to 3 and limit the jewel to 2. pray for the best!

Thanks for the update Raizinho!

Looking forward to trying this build in about 7 days time ;-) Lets hope 2.6.0 doesn't kill it.

PS. Can someone please explain how to link items from my inventory into the forum here?

With the post reply screen up, click on your character's portrait at the top left of the screen, it'll open you inventory and stash, then just click on an item.

2.6 will make this even stronger probably, (with 1 exception) with the changes to threshold jewels not requiring the stats to be allocated, this frees up extra passives to take useful things. The only thing that would stop this build is being limited to 1 jewel, as with 2 it's still feasible.

Thanks!!

Ignore the Gems in the above items, I'm just leveling them on alt gear until I have the full respec in Standard from the new league.
cheers! see you in 2.6.
jewel limit is 3
Istill working ? Cause i have problem on patch 2.6.
with Enfeeble and Wrath ;/ wheni hit Enfeeble dont turn on and same for wrath when i take damage
Is it still viable in 2.6 ? coz me gusta a nice barrage skill build.

thanks
how do you deal with mana regen? i can barely shoot many arrows with the build. which i love btw

Yea Voltaxic barrage is still strong. I'll recommend Raider over Deadeye in 2.6, and there're also some adjustments needed. I may re-play this build later this league and update this guide.

Seems like a nice build.

One thing u can save some skill points by alocating the extra stun avoidence or mana node in starting area to link with Ballistic mastery and remove the 3 points going to 2nd ranger start. This will save u 2 skill points.

I got your point.

But this pathing is intentional, to activate the volley fire threshold jewel. I explained the reason why pathing in this way in the [Tree] section.

Well i tried something and you can save 1 point by taking that extra avoid node, you can remove the 2 dex node from the start after the 16% proj dmg and still get the bonus from the jewel.

I wonder why .. but the dex node under Coordination seems to be connected to the jewel radius.

So here it is you save 1 skill point.

Also, Thanks for the build. Really enjoying it ! playing HCL right now lvl 70.. haven't done lab yet ^^

I'm trying out this build and am almost to lvl 71 and it is working great! Mana was an issue until I was able to get the Mana Flows in the Duellist area, and the leech passive that gives .4% leech to life and mana--that solved my mana problems.

I manually curse with this set up:
My chance to pierce with my split arrow isn't high, so if the shots don't pierce, they chain and curse up to 18 targets. Then I follow up with Barrage which seems to do the trick with 99% of mobs and bosses.

I haven't picked up Powerful Precision with Ascendancy points yet, but when I do, should I keep Pierce linked with Barrage? I just figured out pierce chance can't go over 100% (unlike resistances having an uncapped value). I know the Pierce gem offers MORE damage, but once I have Powerful Precision, wouldn't a different gem be better, like maybe Improved Critical Strikes so I crit more often? I've picked up all the crit listed on the build, and have some pretty decent gear, but my crit chance right now is only 37%.

I also have:
This seems to be pretty awesome--the 50% increased damage and 40% increased rarity really make the consecrated ground worthwhile.
