It's pretty clear from my video you can see half the pulses doing practically no damage... perhaps when I said "low damage" I should have said "no damage" :P*

Okay, I think I see what's going on. I did some further tests.

Setup:
2x Mjolner, one with Ball Lightning, one with Shock Nova. Both skills linked with Brutality.
Charged Dash + Physical to Lightning + Brutality.

That way, none of the skills deal any damage and I can test in peace.

2x The Warden's Brand
The Anvil

This nukes my attack speed to oblivion (1.14 APS, one pulse every 1.75 seconds) so I can see clearly what's going on. Also the cooldown of Mjolner (250 ms) will never come into play.

I went to Act 1 and started beating up some monsters.

Against a single target (a stationary totem), hits indeed alternate between using only MH and only OH with every pulse. One spell is cast per pulse, and they alternate perfectly.

However, when hitting a whole group of enemies at once, both spells were being cast at the same time with every pulse.

Even when hitting exactly two monsters, both spells were cast consistently with every pulse (aside from a negligible number of times which I attribute to accuracy). This refutes an idea that the hand is chosen at random.

This leads me to believe that CD alternates weapons with every hit, not just every pulse.

That's quite brilliant. Thanks for the discovery.

Pantheon - Soul of Solaris - Take no Extra Damage from Critical Strikes if you have taken a Critical Strike Recently

If 10 skeletons swing at you at the same time (assuming all crit). Will you take extra crit dmg from one hit only, then normal dmg for the remaining 9 hits?

Or because all the 10 hits damage with extra crit dmg are already snap-shot, so you will still take extra crit damage from all 10 hits?

There is no "at the same time" with multiple hits. The hits necessarily have to be processed by the server in some order. The first crit will do the full critical damage to you, all others will only do the damage of a regular (non-critical) hit.

Each ignite effect remains present on the target until it runs its course, but ONLY THE ONE WITH HIGHEST IGNITE DAMAGE per second will cause damage at any given moment

A question about how ignite work while using emberwake :
For example, i'm using 1 emberwake and i aplly 3 ignites on an enemmy :
Ignite 1 : 100 fire damage/s
Ignite 2 : 50 fire damage/s
Ignite 3 : 150 fire damage/s
Total damage of ignite at this moment will be which one of below calculations :
1) Ignite 1 + Ignite 3 = 100 + 150 = 250 fire damage/s : highest ignite damage first and second
2) Ignite 3 x 2 = 150 x 2 = 300 fire damage/s : 2 times highest ignite damage

Can CI characters be inflicted with poison? as in, can ci get poisoned to proc apep's supremacy's +max res?

i assume you can be poisoned but simply take no damage from it? or does "immune to chaos" prevent you being poisoned?

Yep, works. See: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2168614
I there. ive made a character that boogies through levels using whirling blades, but also uses leap slam because sometime he bumps into things.

is it against the rules to use a macro that tries to use one and then immediately tries the other? ive done this by hitting both buttons one slightly before the other, and it works for traversing the terrain. a macro would make that much easier.

ive read that macros are ok that dont send two server commands. so does hitting a leap slam button while whirling blades is going off send that command even though it isnt going to happen? if not i think it should be ok.

anyway let me know. thanks in advance.

Yes.

That is only one of the rules for macros. A rule can make something disallowed, but cannot make it allowed. A rule is a restriction. You can do anything unless one or more rules say otherwise.

I am not sure whether this specific macro would be in violation of that specific rule.

It wouldn't be; macros cannot contain a conditional element.

I'm not 'Sarno' on Discord. I don't know who that is.
Spoiler

I got a memory fragment in a shaped arena map in the atlas. I necessarily need to run a shaped map to get this fragment? Or a simple arena map do the trick?
