Mechanical Questions Thread

If I use scold's and inflict myself physical damage,

and take some physical as cold with ToH, and got many reckless defense jewels, can it freeze me?

Can I take crit or be frozen by my own?

Hey.
I have a few questions.

1) I have a question about SRS.
For this skill, 50% of the physical damage is transferred to the fiery remaining 50%, remaining in the form of physical damage.
If I use Blackgleam then the remaining 50% of the physical damage will be transferred to fire and I will receive spirits with 100% fire damage?

2) Gems with the property of "x% damage increase" - is it a global indicator it will act on my golems and my spirits?

3) If I use Fire Penetration in conjunction with perfume - will it work?

4) Skill from the tree Force Shaper is the same global mod it will give a bonus to damage to spirits? After all, the initial damage of spirits physical or this bonus is only for skills that directly cause damage when I create them?

I'm waiting for a competent answer. To all who read it I wish a good day =)
Minions are separate entities from your character. Your modifiers do not apply to your Minions unless explicitly stated otherwise. As such:
1. No.
2. No. It is a global modifier, for your character.
3. I am not sure if perfume deals fire damage? The Fire Pen support does work with Minions, when linked.
4. Nope.

Any response to what I wrought about the scolds?

thank you

Thank you. But I wanted to receive a response from MARK_GGG.

To give you an idea of how often your questions have been asked, here is a thread from 2012 with the same answer I gave :/ Minions aren't much of a grey area. I know with 100% certainty that I am correct, and every other nerd in this forum would have given the same answer.

@rel4us: Scold's cannot Crit (nor Stun). Frostbite's chance to be Frozen would work, but without Auxium and very little ES the duration will be too small to actually apply.
Does Elemental Status Avoidance affect ground effects? Or does it only apply on damaging hits?

Also, what is the interaction between 100% avoidance and Vinktars?
Ground Effects do not care for avoidance.

Vinktar's Shock is supposed to be avoidable, but it's currently bugged with 3.0.2.

Hey guys,

I got a quick question concerning actual hits per second and hope this is the right place for it. I want to make a build around cospri's malice, hence it is important to have alot of hits per second to trigger more casts.
I am currently trying to decide between cyclone and blade flurry. But while I found out that cyclone hits twice per attack (meaning if I have 5 aps cyclone hits 10 times a second) I couldn't find any similar information concerning Blade Flurry. So can anyone here tell me how many times a second (depending on attack speed) Blade Flurry actually hits?
Blade Flurry attacks at listed speed, not counting the burst on releasing (which is extremely fast).
