Concerning Bleed and Poison. Are my assumptions/calculations correct?
1) Does Vulnerability kind of triple-dip on Bleeding-dmg since Bleed is phys dmg? Base phys hit: 100 Vulnerability (20/20) on monster: 39% inc phys taken / 33% inc DoT taken --> Bleed/s (monster not moving) = 100*(1+0.39)*0.1*(1+0.39+0.33) 2) Do applicable more multipliers double/triple-dip on Poison (or Bleed)? Base phys proj hit: 100 Base chaos proj hit: 200 Slower Proj Gem (lvl 1): 20% more proj dmg Phys Proj Atk Dmg Gem (lvl 1): 30% more phys proj atk dmg Poison/s = [100*(1+0.2)*(1+0.3) + 200*(1+0.2)] * 0.08 * (1+0.2) 3) Does inc Poison double-dip on Poison? Base chaos hit: 200 inc Poison: 10% Poison/s = 200*(1+0.1) * 0.08 * (1+0.1) --> To sum it up, can you say: Since Poison (or Bleed) are new dmg-instances, all applicable inc and more modifiers for poison (or Bleed) are used on them no matter if/how often they have been used for the initial hit before? Thx a ton in advance for clarification! |

I have a question about my NippleMystery Build
I am getting perme stunned by random things like Mervil's waterfall if I get caught. I tried buying Kiora's and it works when it is up, but is there anything I could be doing differently that could help the issue, apart from pure stun immunity? |

" That calculation is correct (assuming, of course, no other "damage taken" modifiers like Shock). " Yes, but it looks like you got some issues with what is applicable there (I might also just be misreading your intent). " In the current version of the game, it is not possible for anything labeled "Attack" to double dip.
Full explanation
Every Damage in the game is in one and only one of four categories: Attack, Spell, Damage over Time, and Secondary. It's impossible for anything to be two at once, although stated exceptions can allow bonuses to one to apply to the other, like Crown of Eyes unique helmet or Vortex skill gem. There are currently no such exceptions involving Attack Damage to Damage over Time.
Note that "Melee" is currently always Attack, and "with Weapon" is also always Attack. (This includes "with Bows." Your calculation is correct, though. (Note that PPAD is only single dipping here). " No, Poisonous Hits are not Poison. Correct calc: 200 * 0.08 * (1+0.1) " Yes, but one must be careful about what is applicable, as we have seen above :) (Also subject to change since developers have said they are "addressing" double-dip in the future) Need game info? " Ah, my fault, what I meant to write was: 3) Does inc CHAOS double-dip on Poison (since Poison is Chaos-dmg)? Base chaos hit: 200 inc CHAOS: 10% Poison/s = 200*(1+0.1) * 0.08 * (1+0.1) And thx for your quick and very informative reply, much appreciated! :-) |

Hi!
If I use the flask Divination Distillate (item rarity flask) and I have SRS on Spell Totem, lets say I also have Culling Strike and Item Rarity on this Totem SRS. Will the SRS be affected by flask effect? or because it is the totem that summon SRS it will not be affected by my flask effect? |

Hi there
i got a quetion about added damage as an other type: 100 Fire Damage 100% increased Fire Damage 20% of Elemental Damage added as Chaos My question is how much damage do i do? A: 220 (100x2 (fire dmg) + 100x0.2 (chaos dmg)) or B: 240 (100x2 (fire dmg) + 200x0.2 (chaos dmg)) thank you in advance |
|
It would be 240. The effect of "X Added as Y" always takes into account the final damage of type X damage though the process is a bit convoluted.

" Quite the opposite, actually - it only takes the base Damage. It then grabs multipliers to the new Damage type, and that of the source. 100 * 0.2 = 20 Chaos Damage 20 * (1 + (100/100)) = 40 Chaos Damage " Minions (and Totems too but that's not relevant) use your IIQ/R, so as long as the flask is active on you, you're good.
