GhazzyTV - Essence Drain & Contagion (or Bane/Soulrend) Trickster [SC/HC/Uber Elder/Shaper]

Ok, got myself a new pair of Allelopathies, put in the dmg jewels (which still need to be leveled) and yes, Blight hits quite hard.

However, I had to drop my CoDT setup (the usual Immortal Call + Inc Dur setup) and my Flame Golem. This is quite noticable against certain types of mobs (e.g. Porcupines). Didn't die so far, but I have to be much more cautious.

Quite interesting, since I never realized how strong CoDT was. The few procs now and then are misleading.

Also the Flame Golem is a 3% dmg increase. I therefore now have 2 setups, one with CoDT and Golem for fast map clearing (where I anyways have more than enough damage and would rather have more def for lazy / sloppy play) and one for bosses with Blight from Allelo's.

what is dot damage on ED to start doing T15-T16? atm i'm at 41.880 and i think its way too low. Never even tried higher then T13.

Hi, currently at lvl 83 looking for tips.

Damage is enough for now up to T10 maps, but the tooltip shows only 17k at best with full buffs and I can also notice that mobs are dying slightly slower everytime.

3,9k hp and 1,4k ES capped rezistances, 33% dodge, 35 % spell dodge.



Please do ignore some of the gem levels in my gear as I was experimenting a lot since this is the 1st time I play ED.

Any tips how could I improve my character ? Please note, that I am wearing biscos and Goldwyrm simple because I can afford it and survive just fine.

Mine is:
Unbuffed: 62k
Buffed (Arcane Surge, Flame Golem): 73k
In Combat (4 Power Charges, 5 Frenzy Charges): 93k
Effective (Hindered, Vulnerability, Wither): 312k

I'm currently Lvl 92 and have ok gear I guess.

Doing mostly T14 (only got very few T15 drops so far), did Atziri (normal variant), Uber Lab. All without any issues.

Farming Keys for Shaper and Uber Atziri now.

Mine is 10,7k unbuffed in hideout, tops at 18k in maps. Gear posted above. What am I doing wrong ?

Things that come to mind:

-You don't have +1 Skill gems from Chest Armor, which has quite an effect
-You don't run Empower (Lvl3+) as your 6th gem, which has a big effect, in particular when combined with the +1 from above

Would need to check in more detail, do you have a PoB pastebin of your char which I could look into?

EDIT: Nevermind, forgot that you can import other people's chars in PoB. Checking.

EDIT 2: It really primarily seems to be the difference in gem levels. Lvl 19 ED does 1030 DoT damage, Lvl 24 does 1850. Add more levels for the support gems and effects of gem quality and you will get there.

At some point, I simply bought myself a 20/20 ED. Vaaling them is of course risky. If you have the currency to spare, go for it. For the time being, I skipped that upgrade and live with the 20/20 gem, which gets boosted by +1 Tabula und Lvl 3 Empower to Lvl 24.

The cheapest Lvl 21 ED is currently 2.5 Ex - no thanks :)

You should drop Pierce for Empower.

Poison > Pierce as well if you can't afford Empower lvl 3+ :)

which enchants would you suggest for gloves and boots? i did a few uber lab runs but i cant seem to get anything fitting the boots :)

on my cloves i currently have commandement of light for a little heal when i get critically hit.

on my boots i currently have life and mana leech which is kinda useless because it only leeches a tiny bit with the initial hit of ED. dont know about the channeling of blight.

i would stick with one of the following four i guess. in order of what i think might be best
- 16% increased Attack and Cast Speed if you've Killed Recently
- 10% chance to Freeze, Shock and Ignite if you haven't Crit Recently (since we dont crit at all)
- Regenerate 2% of Life and Mana per second if you were Hit Recently
- 18% reduced Mana Cost of Skills if you've been Hit Recently

i made it to phase 3 on my second shaper try with this build.
it also was my second shaper try ever, because i never got this far in any season before :)
I am positive that i will kill shaper within the next 5 attempts, i just have to get used to his pattern.
