[3.5] Say_Ten's Melee Shadow - Murder Everything Cheaply

Hey Say_Ten, not sure what it is but I feel really squishy when I do T12 Rares. I'm getting 2 tapped by rare monsters and it's really annoying. All resistances are capped over 100% and I've got 4, 564 life with 250k dps when fully proc'd with Taste of Hate, Atziri's Promise, Blood Rage, and Ice Golem. Hard stuck lvl 88 feelsbadman. Should I trade some dmg for more health? Thanks dude.

life is too low still bro. need at least 5k...otherwise play on point and do only maps with easier mods. if you need the xp i can run some maps with you to get you some more points.

really need to lose that big INT node if you can. all your gear is really solid, so its gonna cost you, unfortunately. or you might have to take a hit on some resists for the time being. probably the best solution would just be to remove the crafted crit chance from your amulet and craft INT on there for now if you don't wanna spend currency.

also, despite the resists being fucking great, that belt's gotta go. you need one with at least 100 total life but ideally something like 120+.

lastly, you can temporarily do some efficient things with your tree. either refund the two 5% nodes and take the other 4% and evasion and then the big one next to it (revenge of the hunted), because 4+8 > 5+5, not to mention the other stats.

or...if your refund the INT node and that one small claw node as well, go up and grab Constitution in the Scion Life Wheel, which would be your biggest payoff in terms of life

5% life nodes should be the last thing you are filling in like i am currently. i'm sitting at 5900 life and 131 ES so i'll be over 6000 when i level.

another note: you need an instant recovery life flask and a basalt flask. get rid of that diamon flask unless your accuracy is total shit because you are already critting 24/7

Just got back to POE recently, and have had great fun with your build.
But now im stuck. Am stuck at LVL 70 and die like a fly at maps.
I really need more Life and resistance. But do not know what nodes to replace.
I know that my gear is really bad. Have had pretty terrible luck.

May I know what skill gem to go for +20% quality after leveling them to 20?

For example, Whirling Blades I don't think we need to go for +20%Q? and also the faster attack support linked to it.

Or do I +20% all of the skill gem?

This took me almost 1 weeks , I try to follow your build as best as I could
The highest map tier I've run is 9 rare , from tier 5 - 9 60% I have no problem , other 40% I died a lot and I dont know why, I lose a huge chunks of HP when I kill mobs
my Elemental Resist also 100% capped , Chaos is 20% , life is 5k

If you've only been playing POE for two weeks and you've managed to get to level 84, both you and the build are doing good.

How much life do you have? What are your resistances for fire, lightning and cold?

If you make your characters public on the forum I can look at your gear too.

I listened your advices and made a some changes on gear / gem and passive s.t

BoR has changed to G-B-R-R and added ruthless and crit damage support

Socketless ring (left one) has changed to unset ring (i wasnt have enough gem slot to make ur gem setup) and added life to 2 ring

Amulet has changed with as you want

Also i changed boot and gloves too

followed directly your guide's gem array and i bought %20 quality ones some of them

And i changed something from my p.s.t; i followed ur 93 lvl char's p.s.t (now really more powerfull)

Mana : 682
Elements between %100-110
Armour : 1500
Evasion : 3730
Dual Strike: 50k
L.Strike : 23K

Now char is more powerfull and i can clear maps more easily
İ spend 60-70 chaos to make this changes

plan is to grab remaining life nodes and then grab as near sions life circle, crit and some charges.

i felt like using lightning strike to generate power charges is a waste when we got our hands on full assassin ascendancy so i threw it away, bloodrage seems bigger lose than win because of degen combined with vaal pact, finally i wanted to make full phisical version of build so i picked haste instead of hatered + hoa and gonna get rid of atziri's flask soon enough.

Im pretty content with my eq not counting weapons, when i got enough money saved ill get 2x 1,8 aps swords/daggers/claws because binos are shitty atm. Not using any jewels thou because of money.

DPS: POB says 52k in maps on fullbuff tooltip says ~100k
Res: barely but maxed out
EV: 0 (kaoms + iron reflexes combo)

lots of work to do.

get rid of melee splash, recolor the helm and use ruthless and increased critical damage with multistrike

your gear is absolutely terrible for level 70 and it is definitely what is holding you back!

buy two cheap unique claws (touch of anguish or wasp nest) and use those. your one claw is all elemental damage, which this build does not scale. advancing fortress is fine but you need to kill shit faster.

refund the life leech nodes under the duelist and the mana leech nodes by the ranger that you took and go get Soul Raker in the claw wheels. Try to follow the tree I posted at the top of the build guide, or check my character to see what I'm doing.

I can give you better gear if you send me a message while i'm playing later.
