[2.3] Explosive Arrow Build - Uber viable - 100 hc/sc proof - Scion, Witch, Duelist, Mara versions
if you can get 40 dexterity from gloves/rings/amulet isn't the elementalist path with scion is better? you get:
1: Gain Elemental Conflux for 4 seconds when you kill a Rare or Unique Enemy that can replace chance to ignite gem. 2: 4% reduced Elemental Damage Taken that is helpfull againts reflect, probobly your biggest enemy. 3: Damage Penetrates 5% of Enemy Elemental Resistances or in other words more damage 4: 30% increased Damage of each Damage Type for which you have a matching Golem if you use fire golem yet again more damage i know you get frenay charges from raider, 25% chance to Avoid Elemental Status Ailments, 4% chance to Dodge Attacks and Onslaught while on full Frenzy Charges and here is why i dont think all of this is really helpfull.. 1: you can use blood rage to generate frenzy charges or frenzy againts bosses like you do anyway 2: onslaught dosent really help you.. with your massive increased movement speed and attack speed the 20% dosent really affect you. 3: instead of chance to avoid elemental status aulments you can just use a freeze imune flask and a shock imune flask and one of these flasks could be silver flask if you dont want to say goodbye to onslaught. if you use elementalist you can switch chance to ignite with increased burning damage. when you usally fight unique mobs you fight in a map.. where you kill rares all the time.. so much more damage+4% reduced Elemental Damage Taken to survive big hits better.. if you think you need bleed imune flask and dont have space for freeze and shock immune flasks.. just know its not hard to get alot of armour with this build so no you dont really need bleed imune flask. |

i'll try elementalist and will tell you if/how it works

Is there a benefit to running two flame golems? Im assuming running lightning/flame golem is more beneficial.

Does an Q20 explosive arrow really boost your dps that much? My AOE dps is great but the single target dps really sucks hard.. no idea why.
My gear, ignore the gems on the armour No ideea if Q20 explosive arrow really boost that much dps, paying 1 ex for an gema is painfull.. and i´m saving for an 6l quill rain Great build Last edited by PoweredGiraffe#6004 on Jun 19, 2016, 1:31:55 PM

"i know if im not getting my ignite off on single target, i aint doing much damage. so i say a quality explosive arrow is a noticable boost |

Anyone tried this on the Elementalist build? Would it be enough to drop leech for an empower or something? EDIT: I guess we could accomplish something similar with a boot enchant (still on kill) unless there is a way to effectively chill say, single target for bosses etc. Just trying to think of effective ways to drop my leech for an empower. -- Any advice or insight would be appreciated :D Last edited by Nighttblade#3055 on Jun 21, 2016, 11:43:13 AM

" Since Dyadian's 20% ignite effect only applies to enemies ignited by an attack it seems like it has to be a weapon fire attack damage that triggers the ignite. If it only effects "attack damage" it wont work with our explosive arrow it seems, since the explosive is an seconday damage. Attack Damage = Attack damage, or any damage instance caused by a weapon or unarmed. "Attack" is not a generic term for any offensive ability. Secondary Damage Secondary damage is direct damage that is neither a spell nor an attack and as such does not benefit from modifiers to those things. As secondary damage is not an attack or spell it cannot be evaded, blocked, spell blocked, dodged or spell dodged.[2] Secondary damage still benefits from all modifiers where applicable, some examples being cast speed modifiers, elemental damage modifiers, and area of effect modifiers. On a skill gem, the Cast keyword indicates that a skill deals all or part secondary damage. The following skill gems deal secondary damage: Explosive Arrow's explosion Im trying out the belt myself just to be sure but it's really hard to notice any difference. Would be a great belt if it would work :) Last edited by Qraitz#1283 on Jun 24, 2016, 12:19:04 PM
