[2.1] SuperNova - 200k+ AoE dps ! Insane clear speed - Super fun - Atziri viable | Featured by GGG!

Well this is only my second char, I don't trade (so I have crappy stuff) and this is still an enjoyable build

I looted tabula rasa and got 5L rare staffs with flora's gifts (farmed tropical island, it's a common card), you don't really need more in order to play it. Yes this is not perfect and don't expect to do highest tier maps with this stuff, but I enjoy it :)

The build is fun, just takes a LOT of work to get there, sure level one up so high, no reason not too, buut if you run into a lot of issues, (mana . life and dying a lot) then hold off until you get the pledge of hands and good gear. (that staff is awesome but expensive)

all nine? as checking poe trade, the cheapest is 10c for card, then again, checking poe trade, there are a few Poh staffs that sells for 30c 2s or 3s with a decent spell power. (40c for 152 spell power)

so certainly worth checking that often, I might pick up another at some point for running flame surge and fire pen, but not critical at the mo.

bought POH cards 9x today, spend on them 20c, 150 spell power. POH cards price is 2-3c each

My ADD is annoyed that you can safely level IC to 5 with your CwDT but you've left it at 4 :p

OK will look into getting Some cards, now If I do get another pledge of hands for flame surge, would it be better if I drop cold to fire (staff is 5 linked) and go for cold pen?

so

Ice nova, Concentrated effect, added cold damage, cold penetration, faster casting

alt weapon setup

flame surge, fire pen, added fire damage? , faster casting

would that work ok?

aslong as you are playing solo, you dont need concentrated effect, use inc.aoe you will kill much faster, and will be much safer. for flame surge setup, fire penetration is all you need for T1-14 maps, for the rest, you need to rework the whole gem build, wich im doing atm, otherwise you cant do them without having to die.

thanks for the tip with inc AOE, only issue is, the highest one I got is level 9, and when I use it, I lose a lot of DPS compared to the concentrated AOE level 17 20q, so will level up increased AOE in my alt weapon setup until it gets a lot higher and I can make it quality.

still the increased AOE size would help heaps.

inc AOE seems to be ok, playing with it a bit more, I think I will continue to use it.
