Life Gain on Hit

Does LGoH work with Flame Totem? I know the life will (should) be gained by the totem not me, but this will greatly increase the longevity of the totem.
Currently the LGoH is not shown in the totem skill icon (or description) and I don't see it work.

how is the scaling of Life Gain on Hit with damage effectiveness of attack skills in patch 1.3 ? Still in effect or not?

I really would like to see a change for this gem: Make it useable also for spells. Attacks have life leech + life gain on hit, so why shouldn't have spells the same option too? I mean, life leech works with spells too.
Does LGoH triger with afterefects hits on attacks skills like static strike or molten strike?
A Hit is a Hit, so yes.
Can this gem be like Life & ES gain on hit, this is unfair

FIX SIGNATURE IMAGING
I've been planning out a lighting spell base such as Lighting ball to proc poison on hit, but the problem is that it lacks of "life-gain on hit by spell" rather than attack.


This is one of the unique that gives an exception to "life gain on hit by spell"

I planned only to rely on 3 layers of defenses such as:

1) Acrobatic
2) Mind over matter
3) Life & Mana gain on hit by spell (Since life & mana leech is unreliable in this build due to low elemental damage)

I've tried to look for mana gain on hit by spell, but it's only available by a shape-modded version of the ring, and they are very expensive for this kind of build.

I was wondering if you guys can buff this support gem by allowing "life gain on hit by spell". However, it should allow life to be gain by 1/3 of its original maximum level of the support gem.

For example,
(6-44 life gain on hit by attacks)
(2-15 life gain on hit by spells)

It would cost a skill/support gem slot that could've been enhance the damage by 45-50% in return for sustain.
