a support gem the you can socket to chaos projectiles or any projectal spell or range attack? - it reads projectile flys upward and seeks out enemies with contagion, what is used for? you use contagion on someone and when you use example essense drain it flys up and goes into the target with contagion, making it eazyer to spread it, very usedfull for large packs specialy on console <3 please add <3 landing ess on contagion target is very stressful on console atm

Id love Chaotic freeze to work with Blackflame ignites!, I just cooked up the most incredible acolyte build with sire of shards as one weapon...

If I can chaotic freeze on my fireballs it will open an interesting direction to expand my creation....

(I was going to use Blueflame gloves ... but I thought about chaotic freeze and then remembered Blackflame....)

(seriously what I'm cooking has got more excited than any of my build-creations and ive been cooking for a long time, you got some seriously cool spell synergy in this setup and I'm thrilled to think of something this special that is perfectly fit for my fav class Acolyte :))

(btw you dont have to make this change I just thought of it and can see it being super interesting to play with! so her I go suggesting it)

Why ?

It's clear that the problem is due to how the locus mine mechanic functioning.

Power siphon has the innate homing mechanic, which allowed it to bypass the return mechanic of the locus mine.

Which make it the dominant skill to use with locus mine.

So what do I suggest ?

Make the locus mine support mechanic as a homing instead of return. This way any skills can act like how power siphon use.

This would of course make power siphon less appeal, but people already played enough of power siphon locus mine. So I think expanding varieties would make locus mine a more colorful skill to play.

Clearly you never play Locus Mine outside meta to suggest something like this. Locus mine is completely viable except for content that require positioning like Maven. There are a lot of varieties Locus Mine enabled just that people don't bother to experiment. I have been playing locus mine for ALL of my characaters since necropolis and I still found a new way to play it.
