Ground Slam

The graphic aspect to this skill is so sad, it looks utterly repulsive. Dat orange effect looks so damn glassy. I hope they change it to a white brightness or something else. I understand that the concept is the hit "destroying the ground" but it just looks plain stupid to be honest, especially when you are spamming it, rather have it glow or somekind of effect that isn't litterarely glued to the ground. Also it might work the way it is if you simply change the colour and add brightness, that way it might go well with all the various spots.

Why should there be white glowy stuff? I think the concept is quite fine.

But a better animation would be if the ground was shaking and waves (shock waves, fuck physics and use perpendicular waves for the ground :D) would spreading from the weapon impact location towards the enemies.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but after the change that makes ground slam affected by base weapon speed, the character sheet and tooltip are not currently displaying accurate dps/attacks per second. When using a .95 mace with 5% ias mod, the character sheet displays a faster attack speed than if you have a 1.25 speed mace equipped. which also makes your sheet dps terribly inaccurate.

Just a heads up to the devs if they are not already aware of the issue.

Are you aware that the game displays the same speed for ground slam regardless of weapon speed?

Is this a tooltip error or was this an undocumented change to the skill?

This was changed in a recent patch and not how the skill functions anymore.

We're asking for confirmation of a tooltip error.
ok then in that case. post the weapon and relevant passives and supports in question. thats how a few other skills get proper feedback when a tooltip error happens. i predict the old 850ms turned into a speed modifier, or 85% attack speed base. sorry if i'm not helpful right now.
There is currently a display bug where the displayed attack duration is still calculating from the old base duration of ground slam, but the skill actually executes correctly using weapon base attack duration.

I haven't been playing a while, so I was hoping to get an update on Ground Slam. I see two nerf/fix to ground slam.

Is ground slam still a decent skill to use?
