Ground Slam

Such a great skill but with the addition of other skills it lost its place, i can use the Groundslam tree, change the gem with ice crash and get a way better clearspeed.
EQ is completely broken by itself, the aftershock stuns way better than groundslam by simply dealing massively more damage in a single hit, also since it does not use multistrike its even more so.
Why not simply increase the base AoE of groundslam a little bit and buff the base damage, since you do not take it to deal damage, but to trigger CoC ~~
Or go a completely different approach and merge groundslam with Sunder since both skills are extremely similiar in nature, Increase the base damage slighty, take the attackspeed penality (for balance reasons) and let it cause aftershocks to dezimate foes in front of you.
I also find Ground Slam a great skill, other than the fact that it is so darned inaccurate, misses quite a lot of the time even with Resolute Technique, which makes it so damned frustrating to use. Is there any way to get it to hit more often than miss. Anything up close seems to dodge it most times, which is not what you want, is this due to the fact that GS is cone shaped and just makes it harder to aim?.
Below images show the AoE of Ground Slam with 38% increased AoE and 4x Rapid Expansion Jewels which provides 80% increased angle for Ground Slam.





As you can see, the AoE is totally non-uniform and so much scattered that there are some really big areas that looks like uneffected by the supposed AoE of Ground Slam.

I have done some testing and those are real holes in the AoE. I think Rapid Expansion requires a revisiting and an improvement since Ground Slam is already an inferior skill.

I don't think they'll do too much more to fix GS, it's basically been like this since the beginning, although I do hope they can do something to make it a more viable skill than it is.
If anyone from 'balance team' ever wonder 'why is none using Ground Slam?' here's a hint:

Since you're buffing threshold jewels, why not remove the cap on increased angle so I can hit dudes behind me with ground slam?
So I've been trying out a stunlocking ground slam build with the new threshold jewels, and I noticed something that bothers me. It there a cap on how much angle increase you can gain? Because it looks like there is.

From 0-2 jewels there is a noticeable increase in angle with each additional jewel, to a full semi circle, however after the 3rd there is no noticeable increase. By all rights the arc should be angled backwards to a degree, but there isn't.

So why give us the option for three jewels if the 3rd doesn't really do anything?
terrible skill gem... too bad i was trying it out again havnt played groundslam since open beta and i honestly think the base damage on this gem could be increased 50% and it would still be shitty.
One of the worst skills at the moment. The threshold jewel seems to not provide much overall benefit, and the skill itself is completely outclassed by other skills such as Sunder.

Ground Slam even sucks for a perma stunner build, your better off using a different skill which has higher scaling damage (which would stun just as often anyways because more damage = high stun)
