Is point blank really worth it for this build? For speed clearing, I tend to find myself shooting at a bit longer range.

thanks for the great guide, I've really liked this build so far.

However, now that I've reached red maps the build starts to feel rippy AF. There's no way I can safely run beyond/breach maps with hard mods at the moment. I need to reroll maps at least 4-5 times to get acceptable mods.

How can I add more defensive layers to this build without crippling my damage? I'm currently running a Kintsugi, would replacing it with a Kaoms really change that much? I coul also imagine running Rearguard and Rumi's for some extra block, but that would feel incredibly inefficient since we are Acro. Endu charges is out of the question since we need to rely on IC against the phys spikes.

Any ideas how to make this build tanky enough for red maps in LHC? Thanks!

The reason why your leech is low, is because it's based on your damage. -It will get better once you get to maps, i promise!

A thing you can do is either to use elreon jewelry while leveling, or get a thiefs torment ring. It gives alot of mana on hit

Here's my current gear:

you should probaly go and grab the scion life wheel and respec some frenzy charges or something :) -the nodes leading up to it, will also give you enought strenght to use a kaoms heart :)

Just started a windripper build - toyed with trying to get a foil legacy one, but the cost/benefit didn't really work out!
looks like my plan aligns pretty well with yours, so thought I'd check out your thread for some tips.
I originally wanted to run pathfinder, pathfinder ele pen, plus enhanced effect from wise oak seemed really good. On top of the zoom zoom speed from super quicksilvers.

But couldn't get it to really work out as a life build, and didn't want to go CI.
So back to raider (Avatar of the Veil for me, I just prefer it, and I'll probably grab phase acro, despite being softcore).

Plan is pure tornado shot as I'm going to run a Kaom's. Should be fine, but not sure how damage will pan out against guardians/shaper, even with a +2 ts helm. Could swap in Barrage, but then i'd really want a barrage helm, and a dying sun.
Or maybe I'll just stick to <t15 stuff with this one!

Got a reasonable budget, already cheaply 6 linked my ripper, got kaoms, ele weakness maligaros and got blue dream. Got about 6 ex and 250 chaos left for accesories and flasks, plus some stuff still for sale (Including a 916 es 6l)

Only lvl 33 so far though, having fun running around with tabula, storm cloud (tempest lined up) and thief's torment (Love that thing for bow/wand levelling).

One thing - is pierce on tree that necessary if not using drillneck? 50% from gem should let us get through packs with enough attack speed? Going to be tight on points as it is.

Loving this build so far!!

Just found my first Exalted Orb and now I'm looking to go on a shopping spree!! Could anyone recommend which gear pieces I should prioritize?

I haven't got a Kaom's yet though since my chest is 6link and my Windripper isn't yet. Maybe that will help. I'll try again in a few levels, but at 85...it's embarrassingly bad.

Hey, enjoying the build so far, I'm around level 66 and using windripper, and a tabula rasa just because i need the links. However, I still have mana problems and I was wondering what i could do to fix this issue? Is there a node or something on the passive tree that I need to take?

Read a little higher. I had the same problem as you.

Still having fun. Forgot how nice twinked out levelling was, particularly with a mobile, fast bow build.

No life on gear, uncapped resists in A3 Cruel, no problems so far!
For people struggling with sustain, just get a thief's torment at lvl 30 (elreon before), and forget about rings until endgame.
I got a Bisco collar too, see if I can get a bit of extra currency while levelling (Between the thief's torment, pernadus blazon and the amulet, got a fair chunk of IIQ) . Got a Relic Key 5 minutes after equipping off a white mob, so maybe it worked (All trash from the key though).

Did a noob mistake and killed Kraityn without thinking in cruel. Not end of the world, skill points are in short supply, and can always respec if I really want.
