Unique Rebalance for The Awakening

I had two choices. To beta test or to try to get some possible Legacy items on standard. I decided to beta test. Do I have some regrets? Yea, I like having a decent collection. I think its cool to have items that cant drop anymore.

Would I go back and change my choice? Nah. This is just how things are.

I dont have many Legacy items on standard and I really dislike... not having them. I feel left out. I feel like I do get punished. However, this is just because I dont have the currency to afford these items.

I am happy there are legacy items. It creates a contrast this game needs, and even though people are expressing that they wish Legacy items would go away... I hope they realize at the same time what negative affects it could have the game as well.

Dear GGG. Who the fuck had the Idea to create this Legacy Mod desaster.

Standard League is not everyones favour. But do you really need to destroy the economy on there completly? Its already fucked up and now, by creating two variantes of the same unique makes it completly worse.

Why use a non legacy unique in Standard League when you can buy a legacy? Where is the reason for this?
Its gets more weird every single patch. Standard League has a trading issue and overflood with legacy everything, and this ruins alot.

As I said, why use a non legacy in standard if you can use a legacy.

Why do you even nerf new dropping items instead of changing all uniques completly?

And if u have curency u just buy what u need and continue playing, idk what is broken there, what economy???

People in poe worry too much about other peoples welth and are too much jelous...

Everyone is talking how something will broke economy, how its broken and so on like u are all experts for it or whatever......i dont see how its broken, when i need something i buy it, when i need to sell something i sell

Thats bcs BETA was pushed so hard at release data in such a hurry that balance items have no time, and need add TON new legacy.

Actually comment on the items themselves:

I agree with the majority of changes. I feel that Winderipper nerf is a little harsh considering it rarity and what it can do.

I am disappointed that there are no changes to any summoner items. The new uniques thus far in the beta are a big disappointment. Nulls inclination has very little uses considering the minions do not follow you. You have to build your entire build around it... and if your a SRS build and your minions dont follow you whats the point? More so... you have to KILL them with the bow to get more minions. That means that you have to do a half bow half summoner build... or a Culling build.

Maligaro's Lens is also a big disappointment. There is no situation where you want your minion to die. Even if you are just starting maps and your minions may die very often, the life gain is very very small (if used with Necromantic Aegis.) Lastly, that new Summoner Jewelery (I forget its name atm) is horrible. I defended the item because the game needs crappy and good items... but if everything is crap... whats the point?

I wouldn't worry about it guys, the meta will change again at some point.

At the start, tri-ele thickets were the best build for rangers. Then it was Lioneyes. Then it was voltaxic ect. Now it's harbingers for DPS.

Legacy soul taker used to be worth 300 ex for a mid roll. Now they're less than 200.

There are very, very few legacy items that actually held their value and have increased in value over the past couple years. Basically legacy shavs and legacy rare mods like IIQ.
Dear GGG,

I see you buffed dodge on item. I am sure you took time before taking this decision, I am sure you did not do it randomly without looking at the consequences.

So, I really hope you will not regret it later and nerf dem dodge all over the tree because of one item.

I am also hoping you will buff dodge gem too. I mean it seems odd you would buff this and not buff the dodge percentage on the gem for pvp.

It would make better sense now to make block impossible for dodge users.

I dont agree with some of the nerfs only because builds like the mijonor are only good when you put so much into it. the weapon alone is not good at all.... so much time into just make a build around certain items then it just gets nerfs. On top of that the items never really drop for most people so I dont understand why some items are getting nerfed??? Why cant we just focus on fixing the game instead of nerfing items that never drop and take a lot of time to build. I play this game to be OP not a weak exile I want to kill shiit not die to it...
still dont understand that legacy thing. If there is reason for rebalancing unique item (for example being OP) whats the point of not applying that change retroactively to all versions of the item. Is it too hard or what?

If its broken OP its normal to nerf it even its pretty rare.
