[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

The price to put this build together has dropped hugely this league - both Andvarius and Drillnecks can be had for well under 10c, Goldwyrms for less than 1c, and even Carcass Jack is under 25c. You'll spend more on a rare belt than all the unique gear combined. Dual / triple damage mod jewels are likely the biggest expense facing new players, and even those aren't terribly expensive.

Seems like most builds are seeing similar price drops, too. Makes it much easier to try out something new.

Just wondering why don't you take the extra dodge nodes and the 30% spell dodge?

Don't feel bad about taking it, I've been taking it too and it helps.

Early prices are much more similar (still paid 1ex for both my Andies early), but yeah, mid league prices have TANKED.

SC build, no need. Damage is priority.

For HC variants, yeah, you finish up Phase Acro.

Anyone know where I can find the recommended quality gems section? I think I remember seeing it somewhere in the 349 pages but can't pin point it right now...

is there a uber atziri farming tree for scion caustic? i cant find any on the forums.

CA and Empower are the only ones you'd prioritize.

The rest you can recipe to 1/20% and relevel.

Not one that's current, that I'm aware of.

But basically it's just "stack life, get phase acro and Arrow Dancing"

The rest stays pretty much the same, for the tree.

You may also consider doing a full gear swap to a Hidden Potential version, as Uber is not easily farmable in MF gear, so you might as well deeps-mode it. Atziri's Steps are the only mandatory swap, gear-wise. You NEED that spell dodge.

You won't be able to view the tree, since it's out of date, but Clad's 2.0 Poison Arrow guide is useful for how he sets up his gear. Just don't pay attention to gem links, those will be out of date.

Excellent point there. I was thinking about the same thing, although I wasn't sure that Arctic Breath have a "hit". So does it work?
Edit: I think LGoH doesn't work with spells. So our only option for life gain will be Life Leech. Either that or going back to Immortal Call for some momentary defense.
