The build is still fine with 1% jewels, just go for sanctuary instead of rushing so many jewels and thats it.
The nerf is just as impactful as flame totem nerf for leveling (xD), that was sarcasm. Good to know - just bought Cybil's... would have been a dream crusher, if this build would have been not end game value.
BTW: I started with Magma Orbs, found a Lifesprig and switched to Incinerate after taking the mana regen nodes that was around the corner. Leveling with Incinerate is sooo nice. Nearly the easiest leveling I had the last 2 years... thank you for your Inspiration. | |

Lvl 72, just got creamed by that lizard boss in 72 Labyrinth map.
http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Sallazzang Fight was fast, but in the end he creamed me. Twice. Good thing I leveled beforehand. How do we mitigate so much pure phys damage with this char? I am used to it with my 10k armor marauder, but this is new territory for me :) 46%/59% block before Rumi's - 73%/75% after popping it. 10% phys dmg reduction - 46% after Rumi's. Resists overcapped. Did not help. His hits take a good chunk out of my health. Plus those worm mofos around him! This is my lvl 72 tree:

Made a variation of this build with a witch, sort of a diet version to see the mechanics and in anticipation of more jewels. It's very different, but I was just testing a few builds and was curious to see the EB mechanics. So far this one is a lot better than ball lightning & shock nova :p
I've got dual curse, 3 dragons causing my incinerate to shock, triggering HoT to apply the curses. 15k lmp tooltip with a 5l and lifeleech, cwdt tempest shield for some extra block & chill :) Working my way up to Hired Killer on the tree

HP, gotcha! What's the expected life pool at 72 for this char, so I can work around that?

I think the build is explained pretty good. My mistake was neglecting life for ES :) Forgot the core life/es symbiosis of the build. Too much game time tires the mind :D
