Block incin and stuff *Discontinued due to Incinerate nerfs*

Now level 62, at dom in merciless. this build has been quite enjoyable. i got a lucky 5L drop in act 1 cruel so dps is approx. 4.5k.
picked up a cybils and a stone of laz as well.


Made one gem change, removed LMP in favor of Faster Projectiles.

Opinions on new tempest shield and what herald do u now suggest on running now that tempest shield doesn't reserve

so, any thoughts for the new patch? :)

I'm guessing the leech changes will be a problem if the cost for incinerate is too high.

I would very much like to test this out but unfortunately I dont have a beta key, lets wait and see OP's thoughts !

Hey, i'm level 58 and trying to get a cybils, im leveling both heralds to see which one i'll use instead of tempest shield, leveling anger aswell to use instead of haste, which was my original plan even before the wipe, when I didn't know that haste would be better than anger itself, because of the pathetic 10% effectiveness.

In any case, I suggest leveling both heralds, and for easy maps you can easily swap herald of ice/arctic armor for nice dps boost, thats what i'm planning to do anyway.

In regards to the leech changes, dont think it will be a problem, against packs and mapping in general, the leech will be stronger because it stacks, so it will give nice steady sustain of ES, even better than before the wipe. Against single targets (bosses that spawn no adds mostly), i dont know how good the ES leech will be, but with the new damage effectiveness... the dps is going to be really nice, and I dont have to push the cast speed as much to boost the dps, so the mana cost will be lower than my old setup, which means that killing a boss will only take a small portion of our ES, even if the leech isnt amazing at lower levels (60-70) when Incinerate doesnt have many levels yet. (Note that i kinda talking out of my ass here, I have no idea how good the leech will be, who knows, with the new effectiveness it might be even better than before)

I've got nice 5L ES chest drop so can't wait to get the cybils, and test the damage with herald/anger, i guess i'll link spell echo, lmp, life leech, and i'll test both added chaos or fire pen see what feels better.

Doing a similar build.

I went straight to EB and with one Elereon ring, it was no issue on mana.

Ok, Vaal Pact is now a must, and its strong as hell, more updates soon

Why VP a must? Also if u get time u reackon u could post a updated build tree ur doing this wipe around I assume a Bit of changes now with going for VP other side of tree

Because the regular leech without Vaal Pact is terrible, the way it works it just makes it way inferior to vaal pact, you leech 2% of your max hp or es per target you hit, up to a cap of 20% when you hit 10 enemies, so even if you take a lot of increased leech rate, the leech vs single target will still be terrible. With Vaal Pact nearby theres literally zero reason to not get it, not only for my build but for any build that relies on leech really.

Not to mention, that because of Incinerates nature (small hits fast cast speed), without Vaal Pact, most of our leech is wasted, if we cast 11 times per second, thats 10 casts that you're not leeching from, cause it is constantly overwriting each other even if you're hitting 10 enemies. So even for life-based builds theres not much reason to not get VP unless you're playing RF.
