PvP has been 'balanced'

1.3.1 Patch Notes:

The Clever Construction notable now only prevents traps and mines from being destroyed by players for 2.5 seconds, down from 5. This has no change for monsters.


Good game, GGG. Way to bend over for populist opinions from people who shove fistfuls of money down your various undergarments rather than extensive testing under all possible conditions.

Not to imply that the latter is remotely possible, or that changes in the game cannot occur if the latter condition is not met. But it would be preferable if you could, however vaguely, project the effects of the changes you make to your game. And better yet, balance around those projected changes.

I'm going to go play another game now.

Funny, you don't LLD and yet you quote the one the one change that is arguably justifiable.
This change was actually one of the better ones. Now you cant randomly throw ur traps with clever construction cause they get destroyed before you get new traps. 5s was too long in relation to trap cooldowns.

I actually like it a lot for now.
another patch that let me understand even more that ggg has no clue on what they are doing.
nerfing spells by 25-30 %, cwdt, traps etc and melee skill by 5-10 %. a spell need a crit to do about 3/4 of a melee life, a melee need 1 cyclone to kill another char with this low amount of block on the passive tree, and has RT so always hits. nice joke ggg, keep listening to the rants of ppl in the forum instead of ppl who actually DO pvp.

This and the fact that GGG don't even attempt any form of communication towards us. I feel they only listen to the alpha team's feedback without watching any PvP matches going in during season 1. And even then, unless the alpha team are a bunch of brainless dudes who don't pvp, they really can't fuck up balance decisions this bad.

CALLING OUT CHRIS WILSON OR ANY GGG STAFF TO EVEN JUST ANSWER THIS POST.

I'm happy with the changes, clever construction had a way too long duration and 2.5 is fine and more than enough to work around with a trap build. CWDT nerf is very justified, it was way too op in a 6l.

Haha................OK

PvP isn't near balanced yet but all of these tweaks are legitimately justifiable. These lil % tweaks barely change anything especially when factoring in crit multiplier potential,penetration and immortal call. Cc needed toned down and anyone that really pvped knew that.

Cwdt still one shots in a 3l. Casters aren't affected but meele are
