" My gear is shit, just saying. Some guy posted an uber 2h RT kill the other day. Posted his gear, boasted about how shitty it all was and I laughed...because it was nearly 2x better then what I use. I have 0 mirrored item, 0 mirror worthy item. Most of my gear is 3-4 mods only and pitaful tiers. My stuff consists of things i found and ppls aborted low end craft bases i traded for. Yet I accomplish enough in PvP off just a tree and the fact I know the game. To further prove gear isn't that important I could be higher on the ladder easily, I just don't bother. Waiting 45m-1hr isn't worth my time, I'd rather map. There's also a few dozen builds that are very effective on a small budget. GGG, the ADA of gaming....huuuur i gotz mai skilz. There's plenty of under 50ex builds that can hang in hld. Many under even the 25 mark, which puts you in lld territory. I see a lot of the llders pushing builds between 5-25ex. That's a pretty easily attainable amount and paired with actually being good at the game will keep you viable in PvP. You're obviously locked out of some options but that's the game, put in the work or stfu.

there should be damage limitation from gears // less physical damage / less crit damage / less spell damage
from gears only // not the skills neither the passive tree this will make pvp much better environment for different skills/builds I have a feeling that the game will be boring and non challenging (PVE & PVP) // so maybe its bad idea however, its just my opinion this as had been said will be harsh to ppl who invest time/ and own very good gears but this will encourage the pvp matches (including me XD) lot of rework to make pvp better and GGG start the first steps so who know maybe someday pvp will be much better than now (which is also fine for me ) Last edited by alshabibi7#7881 on Jan 29, 2015, 2:10:18 AM

I can't speak for HLD, but with the way MullaXul and Tommie are speaking, I get the vibe that the entry to HLD is the same feels as the entry to LLD.
People always assume you NEED gg gear to even stand a chance, but I've been beaten by dudes on budget gear, and I've seen dudes suck balls using gg gear. Sure it means something, but it's not the whole world. Also crafting your own gear > buying in LLD. I have gear others would pay hundreds of exalts for, based on the market and what sales I've seen, but it cost me barely 20 to put it all together. | |

" you're taking the price for granted. we started LLD before it was the cool thing to do. When selling a t1 lvl 28 item for 5 chaos was a good deal because alternatively for pvers it went to vendor for 5 alt shards. Now everything with more than 2 t2 mods is priced well over an ex. Budget gear now days is what ur build cost a year ago, that's just the fact of the market atm. LLD is not cheap, its not easy to gear, unfortunately. |
