Majority of people will always complain if that price is above 10ex, as most cant even get that much. And its harder for some that play HC as you always need some reserve pool in case you need to rerol due to a rip

the price is very realistic and easily attainable without no lifing. any complaints past that fact is no longer the fault of the current pvp system, but rather the fault of the players refusing to believe how cheap it can be to gear a top lld.

I think the issue isn't so much the fact that players have BIS noobsmashing gear, but the scale at which they do.

In Torment, you're going to run into much fewer people with that kind of gear simply because there aren't as many people with that kind of money to throw at PvP.

In Standard there are many more people with buckets of currency and valuable items rotting in remove-only stash tabs, meaning the average gear level across people you're playing will be much higher (also meaning an average-geared player will have that much more difficult a time getting matched against similarly-geared players).

Haven't you see the reddit post about the guy who duped thousands of exalts in rampage with a simple command ?

All this shit is now in standard and don't tell me he was the only one to do this.

If GGG want to be serious about competitive pvp they have to do this in the temporary league.

1000s of Exalts in gear does not make you unbeatable. There are fun and viable builds for under 100Exalts, many under 50Exalts and some under 25Exalts. All easily done with actually playing the game. Standard and Hardcore perm leagues should not be shat on for such moronic reasons.

Lets not forget how much diversity is actually in and allowed in this game. You have a blank canvas, wealth plays a small role in making something out of it that is worth a shit.

I'm not talking about wealth, i'm talking about the fact that using a simple command line, some people have been able to craft the perfect gear for EVERY slot, and duplicate it with duped mirrors. And they were able to do that in every league until GGG fixed the exploit

You can't be serious running a tournement in an aRPG when this shit is out there especially if you giving physical price. No one would sponsor this kind of event (i was quite surprised Razer was on the last one but with this story out, no way they'll support anything out of a temporary league).
