Why does PvP season 2 must exclude an established PvP Base?

I don't feel excluded, it was known that S02 will be in challenge leagues.

I still like to play on my standard LLD guys. I just wish there was a reason to improve my char, or make new chars, but I don't know if they will ever see tournament play. The ranking system on standard is pretty much a graveyard, much more than it was when season 1 was happening.

Currently it seems impossible to level Leo up at all. Good luck to anyone who didn't participate in season 1 that wanted a level 4+ Leo, cuz that's not happening.

This is perfect proof that in one month or so, you are already able to match your standard guy on a temp league without all your standard currency backing you.

I'm pretty sure Skyforth isn't a hardcore no lifer, and him having that 180 pdps swords that match the best swords in standard is proof of how easy it is to gear for LLD, as opposed to the "thousand hours rmt jsp all mirrored gear".

Which is a good thing. The seasons were designed in this way so that people could have enough time to gear up for PvP in temp leagues.

yeah definitely a good thing, but this is how we can show noobs coming into pvp that you can get tier 1 gear in under 2 months.

Ummm..... To be fair, i finished my character in about a day.

An arguably tier 1 character, finished in a day, using currency made in the span of a month, give or take.

The point being torment is just 40 days old, and you can already gear up to tier 1 status. We get lots of guys complaining about how PvP in PoE is just a gearing game, and you won't win unless you have RMT'd mirrored gear. Lots of other guys also complain about how hard it is to get good pvp gear as the best stuff is hoarded by the current pvp base.

Now, when we get guys who complain about such stuff, we can show them how even in a temp league, it is easy enough to get top end gear without paying out of your ass.

you should ask him how much he spent on the char that he geared in 1 day.

Majority of people will always complain if that price is above 10ex, as most cant even get that much. And its harder for some that play HC as you always need some reserve pool in case you need to rerol due to a rip
