there are easier ways that keyloggers
with everyone having like 2 or more antivirus running these days hackers have turned to diferant means to access accounts nowadays hackers use social media sites to get to your information sins GGG uses a email-pasword combo as security ( which is pretty poor security i might add) its real easy for a semi organised group of young chinaman to get 50% of your login data. the other 50% can be done with things like brute force or dictionary-based hacking programs. | |

Hey i logged into my account today on the client and its telling me its been disabled due to someone else logging into my account and its not even sending me the verificaton email to my email address omg whats going on??????!!!
The only thing i need in this world is to play pathofexile.

HI ´ My account has bean hacked and almost all my valuables taken. I was logged out 04/26/21013 at 4:30 Greece time. And today I logged in now 13:30. And I see that I am missing orbs, skill gems and all my gear what happened ?? Maybe can be rollback or something I love the game and I would love some help here to :p Thx for a great game. I got 2 msgs for blocked codes, one from China, one from California. Haven't logged in for a many months. Reset password, log in, reset code, log in to game and find all of my items gone, Stash, equipped, everything. I do not use maphax, dont do 3rd party sites. I've played the game straight up with a decent password. I'm done here. Not starting over.

For me it's a bit different.
Whenever i log off for several hours i come back to a locked account wich i can unlock with the code sent to my mail. The mails tell me the region my account was accessed from. First it was China now it is random regions from the country i live. So far nothing has been taken. Changing my password does nothing to change the situation. I run a firewall and antivirussoftware which claim my system is clean. If my email was compromised i should be able to see that someone read my messages and whoever tries to login to my account would have the unlock code anyway? I did not install any thrid party programs and i'm not aware of having done anything listed in the entry post. From this information... what should be my next steps to prevent my account from beeing razed? Any new tips besides reinstalling the whole system and hoping for the best? | |
