My IP changed to a different location and I can't access my email because of problems on the server. Therefore I can't play the game. Account security. Yay. -_-

Pleeease. I've never been hacked in a game. I have multiple layers of hardware network security. unique password generators, precautionary measures (copy paste type password manager), test programs on virtual machines before installing on user systems. I mean... its blatantly obvious they are not taking any responsibility for their inability to secure their system. These security measures they say they will implement have been used to keep gw2 secure. In the case that you use the same password and email on other forums, less secure, your asking for trouble.
They got hacked and cannot detect it. plain and simple. Chinese hackers are better than this security team. BAM. own up to your shabby security.
and....... you are concerned with setting a precedent of apologizing for mistakes in fear of admitting to your incompetence, but truthfully the days of claiming ignorance are over. Your incompetence has been unveiled. There are many security measures you could have taken to prevent this and you haven't.
Yep.

to be fair, GGG makes games, not computer security, those two things aren't exactly the same.
it just gets to show that in this day and age you can't get far without a dedicated security team.

My account was hacked last night too.
All my gems and other are stolen.
I bet one of these fucking sellers now sell all my goods in global channel.
Chinese rules that.
Put that shit game in dump, its lost to criminals.
And why hackers can log in in my account without using security code?
I must use and procedure this shit every game i log in!
There was no new code in my e-mail box, only codes i use by myself.
Fucking security!
Now i cant test further. Have to clean that from my PC.
That never happened in D1 and D2 to me nor in Drakensang Online.

Hi Guys,
I just started a youtube channel. I want to feature alot of RPG games on the channel but right now I'm doing Path of Exile because there seems to be alot of interest in it. Currently I'm doing a shadow class ranged build. I would appreciate your views/support please check out my channel and let me know what you think! Thanks!

Same here...
Got hacked. Contacted Support. They said "sorry". And thats it.
I don´t think that it´s a coincidence that so much people were hacked.
And i don´t think that it was always the players fault, because noone is really that stupid to give away confidential information to "xXStylerproXx" if you know what i mean.
