And I bet that neither of them even bothered to change their PoE account email after they were compromised. The new auto account locking feature when signing in from a new location is completely pissing me off. I have a dynamic IP, I need to reactivate my account everytime I reconnect to my ISP. I cannot multibox because I would have to constantly re validate every account in order to do so. Completely unneeded security features to cater to noobs who havnt the slightest clue about internet security. Oh right, and there was some guy that only just did his first malware scan since 2011, and these people wonder how they ever get hacked! yep i just got the email as well from china or whatever, and i was using my "forum" password on this because i never changed it. all is well now though. they probably hacked some forum lord knows i'm registered on a lot

" Is making a new email address really so hard? I can sum up that everyone that been hacked, or their account has had a hack attempt knowingly use the same email address all over the internet. Yet none of these people will ever learn - new game, new email address, 1 email address per game, do not use this email address anywhere else on the internet. I used a different email address and was just hacked. And they stole ALL of my orbs and most of my skill gems. So basically now I'm left with nothing.
While I appreciate the need to protect the economy of the game, the fact remains that it is poor customer service to not make your customers whole again after their account is compromised. |

Well I need to thank you GGG - someone from China had logged into my account, but nothing was stealed - probably because the immediate lock-out. Those fuckers are fast, one month from OB and already stealing like mices ....
