" Vaal arc is extremely good in clear pack, open box situation. Its so good when clear those pack with immortal aura or totem around the pack as it give unlimited chain. At best, I did clear 2.5 screen size mob in one single vaal arc blow as mob stand close to each other. In saying that picking between 21/0 arc or 20/20 vaal gem, I would still pick arc 21 gem as it give huge dps boost against boss fight. I think this build is a balance between dps and survivability. That reddit dude may sound valid and he's free to choose other ascendancy. But I would NEVER give up paragon node. I alch maps and put them in the device without looking the rolls. I play unidentified maps as wel. I played arc witch pre-ascendancy and ele reflect was just -10% xp. Period. Paragon node ftw! First of all thank you very much for this great build!
I have a question about the use of Hypothermia. Why is it necessary to have the "Adds X cold damage to spells" stat on your jewel or gear while using Hypothermia. In my ingame tool tip it doesnt show any changes on the "chance to freeze" or on the "chill effectiveness" stats no matter if I add cold damage to spells or not. Am I missing something, is it just not properly visible in the ingame tooltip? Thanks for your help! |

I really appreciate the build and, as a new player, it was working pretty good for me after I respecked my passives a bit. But, now I'm running into a wall and am looking for some help. I'm level 85 and am finding that I'm dying a bunch now. Delving I'm stuck at around 127, and that was pushing it. Maps I frequently die and am one shotted in a number of places. I tried the 4th labyrinth a couple times, dying to the dog once and the first boss the other time. Character is viewable in my profile.

I see, level 21 vaal arc is also possible it seems so we dont have to swap or use 2 hotkeys? , get best of both worlds kindof but very expensive? :) @Earthslug Yes the comfort of being reflect immune is very nice indeed and I dont think one build excludes the other completely but is more situational, getting more damage is obvious with the reddit guys version and he has made a response again in the thread if anyone wants to check it out there, as I dont want to start a debate or fight in the thread so to speak :D but I will keep grinding with this version and maybe in near future have some currency to be able to test more on my own and with some more experience and knowledge, again thanks to Enki and all others who are giving feedback, cheers! Please explain the charges of endurance.
If they are 0 out of 0, then we take 4% damage reduction for each, i.e. NOTHING? or is it still 12%? and another -10% to maximum Block Chance, means that now is a maximum of 90%, and 29/90 = 32.2%, this is very cool. all right thank! |

I think come the end of the optimization of my build. I am still looking for an inpulsa + 1lvl to finalize I think and lvl21 for all gem it is the most accomplished version. It remains fragile against the boss but easy to clear the map. Thank you again for this wonderful guide. I ask you one last time to look at my build to know if I can still improve some points and to have your opinion. life 5.8k dps 360k without flask kill elder and shaper, not the uber thanks again |
