@Parhelius: Get yourself an Essence Worm and work on your flask setup, just switching the Quicksilver for a Silver flask would already be a boost. Also replace the unique jewels you're using.

@Amethyss: As others have said, you're currently not playing this build but rather your own variation, and the changes are what cause you issues. You're missing out on lots of important cast speed, attack speed and 10% shock effect by leaving out the shadow area, your Arcane Surge needs to be recasted more frequently by missing Increased Duration in the links and you're missing Decoy Totem and CwDt Vortex for survivability. Your Flask setup, together with missing the Alchemist cluster cause both survivability and DPS issues, using Brightbeak amplifies those. I guess you got the idea for Brightbeak from my SSF char, i'm just using it because i'm chaining T11s to 100 and have an almost maxed setup, for other content i'm switching to one of my rare sceptres.

Switch to the gem- and passive tree setup in this guide and you'll see it will be much better.

@blekix: Flasks and jewels, also update your gem setup. You don't need Siphoning Trap anymore and Herald of Thunder should be thrown away after speccing into Mind over matter, and your Arcane Surge is too high level. After those things, go for a 5L Inpulsas.

I got some lucky drops, and was wondering what to upgrade now.

My largest concern is getting enough damage for guradians.

Seems getting empower level might be best upgrade, but given the cost I was wondering if there were any obvious gaps.

Damage for Guardians should be there already. What you could do is replace Valako's with a high resistance ring, which would allow you to replace boots to get a proper enchant there and a more DPS oriented amulet. And i'd recommend the CwDt Vortex setup for chills, that will help mostly with Minotaur and Chimera.

What should I focus on next? Level 21 gems? Is taht gonna be an insane damage boost? What else can I do to improve my damage significantly? (other than a watchers eye with damage xD)

Quality on your Arcs support gems, and maybe a more DPS-focused amulet. If you don't need the boots implicit you could also get a good enchant (or new boots with an enchant), don't really need to be ele weak overcapped with Wise Oak and all the flask duration.

First off, thanks Enki, this is a really fun build to play. :)

Towards the endgame, is there any real difference between the Ahn's shield or a good rare? Or is it simply down to preference?





I rely; probably too heavily on jewels for extra resists and giving up two slots for the fragility gems 'feels' like it hurts, but I really cannot tell.

I'm leaning toward the rare shield to open up the gem slots, I feel this would help me move away from the two-toned boots for something that will allow an enchant.

In t8 maps i feel too fragile.

I think my dps is little low, any suggestion for more dps and survivability ?

I thought a bit about the Uber Lab enchants and i think Commandment of Thunder is pretty nice and can increase our Inpulsas explode by a lot. I bought it :-)

I'm helping a buddy of mine trouble shoot your build. He's struggling with Tier 12 and above maps, also is saying that he's having a hard time staying alive (feels very squishy).

My first suggestions of his was definitely to find much better jewels (2 of his rares looked pretty weak) and also his amulet looked kinda meh, not really providing any extra stats that would help him out.

Was hoping that you might be able to provide a bit of insight into what kinda things we can look into so we get him mapping like a beast <3.
