Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page

Anyone got a tip for a Occultist on how to kill Izaro? I get 2-shot by the beast :(
Thanks a lot Enki for your guide.
It's my first character doing maps and I have a lot of fun with it.

However, I have the same problem than RedSkyNL. It's realy difficult to do Izaro in Merciless. Because of that, I don't have Malediction Ascendancy node and it's realy frustating... As a result, I keep using Orb of Storm to generate my Power charges.

@RedSkyNL, Fabz33: Izaro can be tricky with ARc if you can't dps him down yet. Your best bet will be the Atziri method: Switch Arc with Storm Call, Empower with Less Duration. Watch his actions and stay in motion, burst him down while you know he won't attack you within the next 1-2s. Goodluck!

Thank you so much for this guide! I've been loving every single second of it.
But I do have a question and it is very situational I suppose.
I currently have no elemental leech except for when warlords mark procs from herald of ice or from a Atziris promise flask that I use instead of Vinktars. I'm wondering if it would be better (in my case) to swap out enfeeble or temp chains (linked to CWDT) with a second warlords mark. I'm thinking that this would help me face tank bosses more than enfeeble/temp chains.

What do you think?

If anyone is interested, here is my current gear/gem set up:

@KCCO: Hey, thanks and nice gear! I've actually used to have a low level Warlords Mark on Lv1 CwDt for boss leech, but dropped that with the most recent update.
You can replace Temp Chains with Warlords Mark, would be easier to chrom and you can keep the extra damage reduction incase you get hit.

Ok Enki I will try the Atziri method for Izaro.
Thanks for your reply.
Hello!

First of all, i'd like to thank you for this build, i play it as a shadow/assasin, and i really enjoy it, except one thing. Reflect. I invested some in my stuff (buffed 200++k dps...), and i tried a LOT of item variations, but everytime offscreen reflect killed me, and "here we go again..." as Scorpions used to sing.

I was wondering what else can i do, and after much thought, and some playing here is my conclusion:

Why? Here i explain:

3 base PC + 3 from tree + merc Alira + 2x Void battery + this amu = 10% more dmg reduction (40% with MoM!), thats the first.
40% reduced crit chance/PC means we get only 10%/PC instead of 50%, so our dps is not too high to 1-shoot us in case of reflect, thats the second.
10% mana regen/PC is INSANE, i have 195/sec with clarity at 17-18 (can't remember exactly, but i will surely have 200+ with clarity at 20)
And the cherry at the top of the cake, life - always needed, except CI :), and mana for MoM.

Thanx for reading!

I hope it helps some :)
Thank you Enki for the nice build. I made it to 93 in PSC as an inquisitor selffound.
Found a CotB around level 90. This is the icing on the cake, porcupines are severely less dangerous than and curse application is better. But it works well without, so I would recommend it to everery selffound player.

At the moment, i am using Icebite in the six link. It gives three frenzy charges easily, meaning 12% more damage and increased castspeed and attackspeed (nice for whirling blades).
Do you think it's a worthwhile addition for people not having a level 4 empower?

Currently i am at about 50k DPS fully charged with this gear:

This is fine for clearing up to tier 12 maps. Haven't found higher maps until yesterday.

@doroni: That's a good idea! But probably only viable for Assassins, since it'll hurt crit chance for other classes too much.

@RaxerX: Looks really good for selffound! Ice Bite is ok, but has its issues with reliability in some bossfights. I'd personally prefer Faster Casting if you can handle the mana cost. But both works.
Only issue is that both aren't red gems, so it's not really an option for coil users.

I've posted before, commending the author on this extensive guide. I decided to try it for the race and I must say it's pretty amazing. When you play it and you find yourself in situations where you should die but survive instead, it becomes obvious just how well thought out the skill gem setups and everything is.

Great clear, but more importantly, great survivability - something witches normally lack.

Thanks again.
