I forgot to mention -- this one will make a nice difference for us -- several hundred life -- perhaps 500 at high level.

Yes I understand my fire is too low! But this is unbuffed? when I got all 3 auras on I am with 77% all around? so 37% is too low? hmm.. that sucks :( how can I increase really?

Check my lvl 65's gear and tell me what I should do? :)

Hail, siontheman! With tomorrow's patch, you probably won't be able to run Purity, at least not right away, so you will have to work toward filling the gap between 37% and 75% on your gear. If you are self found, I understand how hard that can be. If you are willing to trade, a few items from the trade forums for a few alts, alcs or chaos should fix you up. People are probably more motivated to sell today because of the new leagues coming out tomorrow.

I'm sorry I could not see your gear in your post. If you are relatively new to the forums, here's how to link your gear:

When you have your post reply screen up, place your cursor at the point in the message body that you would like your gear to show.

Next, scroll up to the top of the screen and click the picture of your character. Left click once on the item you wish to link.

You will now see a snippet of code appear in your message.

Repeat as necessary.

they also said that a lot of the 6% nodes will go back to 8% right? but then they also said they removed some nodes, so I suspect that the overall amount of %life will be about the same, leaving us with the amount you mentioned.
can't wait to see the actual tree.

the aura thing sucks a little bit, as now I'll have to either drop grace or purity, don't think I can afford to skip determination. I will probably consider using more aura reservation nodes if they are close by...

1 more day :)

I have not heard of any changes to our life nodes my friend, as we are not going through the middle of the tree at all, so it should be an overall life boost for us.

I'd go for Determination and Grace, especially since Grace is specifically getting buffed. Resists are relatively easily replaceable with better gear. :)

An interesting option for us in 1.0 will be the new (returning) keystone, Avatar of Fire (converts half of most types of damage damage to fire, deal no non-fire damage).
Looks like there will be a new circle of nodes near Bulwark that terminates in a noteable called "Sovereignty" or something like that. 8% reduced mana reserved, 12% increased effect of auras you cast. Looks like it would cost about 4 points.

Also, Berserking is getting moved closer to the middle of the skill tree where we are not already pathing and it is now gated by two minor nodes. So, that will probably be taken out of the build unless I find some radical new pathing to be superior when I get a chance to play with it live.

We've added Trigger Gems, a new type of Support Gem that causes linked skills to be cast automatically on certain conditions. This patch includes six of these, with more coming in subsequent updates.
Added a new Intelligence Trigger Support Gem - Curse on Hit.
Added a new Dexterity/Intelligence Trigger Support Gem - Cast on Crit.
Added a new Strength/Intelligence Trigger Support Gem - Cast on Melee Kill.
Added a new Dexterity/Intelligence Trigger Support Gem - Cast on Death.
Added a new Strength/Intelligence Trigger Support Gem - Cast when Damage Taken.
Added a new Intelligence/Dexterity Trigger Support Gem - Cast when Stunned.

A little theory crafting....

I think these are the best options:

Curse on Hit + Enfeeble

Cast when Damage Taken + enduring cry

Cast when Damage Taken + molten shell

Cast when Stunned + immortal call

Cast when Damage Taken + Ice Nova + Blind

I think the first two choices are the most important.

I'm hoping for a Cast on Block trigger gem in a future patch, which would be even better for us than any of these.

What other combinations can you folks think up with the current trigger gems? :)
I thought of another interesting choice for the new trigger gems....

Cast on Melee Kill + Raise Zombie

Makes sense to use that trigger as zombies require corpses.

Cast when Damage Taken + Summon Skeletons might add a little DPS.

Sounds like there will be a new side quest to get these trigger gems (and other previously drop-only gems) rather than having to re-roll a new character or buy them from other players.
The problem I see with Curse on Hit is that it takes up too many gem slots to be effective. You have to link Curse on Hit and Enfeeble to Heavy Strike in order for it to work. That's already 3 gems taken up and your Heavy Strike damage is still pitiful.

I'd definitely be rocking Cast when Damage taken + Molten Shell and Enduring Cry though.

Edit: I wasn't 100% sure this is how the machnic worked, but I found this confirmation pic:

Me either, thanks for confirming. Yeah, that puts the kibosh on that idea. :)

The other ideas should work at least.

Again, if anyone can think of more creative uses for these trigger gems, I'm all ears. I'll try to update the guide tomorrow with some info pertinent to 1.0.0 (new build, our recommended trigger gems, auras).
I'll probably do something like cast on damage taken - molten shell - blood magic - conc effect / elem prolif.
I'd swap that for cast on block if we ever get that trigger gem :)

I am also thinking of the possibility of adding tempest shield back as a 3rd aura, cause it seems to stay at 25% and depending on the mana reservation nodes it might work out.

it's definitely kinda cool to get some free gem slots to play with for trigger gems, that could make up for the aura loss.

edit: enduring cry is nice too, but I get some endurance charges from bringer of rain so I'm not sure I need it.
