(and yes my cold is 10 below 75 because I am running lower maps right now and want a bit more DPS. when I run tier 10+ I put a weaker dps ring with better cold.
My tree is uses 3 points for extra strength and int, but really at a loss on refining my gear :/
A) Replace drillneck with a rare quiver. Drillneck is overrated for TS builds and should not be used. you should replace it with a pure dps setup. No resistance. Haku Life is okay as long as the damage stats are high enough (crit chance, crit multi, WED and possibly attack speed - the first three are the most important ones)
B) Replace Amulet for a rare / other talisman with flat phys, crit chance and crit multi. Besides that amulets are a good spot to get +attributes or STR / INT. You can try to search for a talisman but most likely they suck. Buy a rare.
C) Use "The Retch" instead of faminefeast OR a rare rustic (leather is also okay) with triple res / high life and room for WED enchant or double res, high life, WED and room for a third resist.
D) Replace gloves with Maligaro's OR a better rare. Remember you can enchant attack speed on gloves so find a pair with high life and possibly flat, with a mix of suffixes you want (dual res or 1 res + accuracy)
E) Replace boots. Movement > Life > resists.
I cannot see you chest, jewels and flask setup.
The Retch as a unique is mainly cool if you are using Vinctar or Taste of Hate. It is also useful without them but to have the full effect you want those powerful unique flasks.
I did tests with replacing drillneck and redoing my passive tree, and the dps was always lower. Mostly because horn gives me such a nice boost to DPS that hasn't been seen by another.
Just trust me on that one. The strength of drillneck is you utilize pierce chance for your second projectiles from the Tornado Shot. In my opinion it is not worth it compared to the significant "tooltip" dps loss.
The drillneckthing is a bit outdated tbh. Quite decent rare quiver aren't really expensive, while Drillneck isn't exactly cheap. - So not only rare quivers being superior qualitywise, they'll be cheaper more often than not as well. Of course gg rare quivers are a lot more expensive, but that's not the the question anyway, because those are clearly way superior.
Can someone tell me why i'm getting one shot? check my gear:
Was it reflect? In which tier map? Which map-mods? Which boss / mob type? What kind of damage? What level are you? Where you standing in shocked ground? Did you have full life? Did you get hit by lots of small hits in a fast sequence? I could go on.
Judging from your gear you would end up with something close to 4,8k hp (assuming you are lvl 87 with a total of 165% increased life including jewels). I got 5k hp and very few things one shot me.
Most likely you either did something bad like standing in bad stuff or got hit by some tough boss with tough map mods. Neither counts as a 1-shot.

Edit: Also put on 20% quality on your bow :P
i have around 3.9k (got a maligaro's)
So assuming you have 130 strength and helped oak you should have 124% increased life from passives / jewels. That is extremely low.
Still you are not really answering any of my questions. What is a 1-shot ? Under which circumstances?
Will this build still be good for the new challenge league coming up? Basically the goal is to hit end game as fast as possible and make as much currency as possible while still having something that's easy to gear up. Any better builds for that?
Really new to POE, but not to the arpg world. I fumbled through the guide section until I came across this one. I just hit the mid 20's today, so far I'm really enjoying your ranger guide! I must have skipped over who to help when I initially read the guide. I killed Oak, and the other chick in the forest. Should I re-roll, or do you think I'll be good to keep on trucking? I'm still in act2.
Obviously grinding, and farming are keys to success in any arpg. Is there a recommended guide in the forums or on YouTube for successful farming in the current patch? I know here in less than 2 weeks a huge new patch is dropping, and of course things will change at that point, or at least they usually do. I've also become familiar with the trade website you mentioned, it has me drooling for currency that I don't have access to yet due to current level.
Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Reroling bandits isn't cheap, if you are new to the game. So just stay with it till you can easily afford it. It's just a minmax'ing thing, - nothing you really need.
About farming... get familar with useful vendor recipes, use a good item filter (like neversinks) and don't waste currency on any leveling gear. You'll need your currency once you'll pass lvl70 to get a decent setup for playing maps. Do all masterquests. Later: Do not craft anything until you really, really understand how to do it and can afford it. Get familar with poe.trade and acquisition.
