I was wondering if someone could help me out here. Ive posted on here before as I just love this build. I havent been able to play as much as I would like to lately, but when I do I still love this character. Its just fun going pew pew. Anyway, I do decent enough with this character on my own.
The problem is now my friends are starting to run a lot of higher level maps, 10+ and all that good stuff. We are normally in a group of 2-3 people. I am struggling a lot more in there. I have a little over 2ex saved up, as I just dont see how people make the godly amount of currency that they make. I was wondering if you all could help lead me in the right direction as to what to try to purchase next. Ive spent all of my alterations trying to craft a harbinger, its just not happening. I was thinking I should try to upgrade to a 300+ dps harbinger so I can help our group in reflect maps. Would anyone mind sharing their opinions on what I should do next to help my transition to higher tier maps? Here is my gear:

I have 4k health. My base DPS on my tornado shot is 10.4k unbuffed and jumps to 22.1k with hatred/hoi/blood rage/6 frenzy charges. My resists are 75/74/75, with fire being at 103%, and lightning at 80%. My chaos is still -60 and hurts! Here is my current spec.

" There are so many things you can do to improve ur Gear. First of all swap ur Amulette for a Life/Critchance/Critdmg one. To cap ur Resis u can use a phy dmg belt with resis. IMO the Retch ist not that good. Your Gloves change them for Maligaro it will improve ur dps much. Get better rings with more Resis so you can use a Quiver with Life/Global Crit 60%/Multi 30%+ and Weapon Elemental Damage. Search Later in Poe trade for a Harbinger bow with 8.5 Crit and 300pdps they cost 1-2 Ex. Now at ur Tree Remove the +30 Strengh/+30 Int in ur Passive and get on ur Belt Strengh too. And u can get int on your Rings or Amulette. I guess ur at Level 75-80 there it is pretty much useless for u to do T10 Maps since u get enough XP from lower Tier Maps. And you will get many Passive Points if u reach a higher Level that will improve ur DPS by much! |

Hey neversink, and any other expierenced rangers with this spec, i want to start running atziri cause i never have before, im capped resists and about 15k tornado shot dps with just aruas/golem and 3.9k life,43% evade 50% dodge attacks 40% dodge spells @ lvl 87, do you think i could do it?

" Normal Atziri is pretty easy if u know how to dodge. And you need a Single Target Skill to kill Atziri in his Split Phase. But your DPS is enough. |

" Tried it, killed double vaal and trio with eas, and got dumpsterd by atziri edit: im pretty good with dodging shit, but when she did some of her abilities id get massive frame drop, so maybe next time ill turn down my graphics for the fight. Last edited by GetRekz#6926 on Jan 9, 2016, 4:03:48 PM

More than anything, you need to just figure out when to attack her. Sometimes due to desynch, her firestorm takes off 90% of my health, and an immediate spear attack finishes me off. This is worse during clone phase. Just keep moving like your job depended on it. 1 hit at a time and don't facetank her just yet.

I'm really having a blast with this build so far, I had a lot of trouble capping out resists, but now that I'm capped out I rarely die anymore. What should I focus on next?

Is it better to switch Physical to lightining with Added fire damage for a split arrow build in 2.1 ?

Hey, I have a question that might've been asked before but I didn't find:
Which one is better: Herald of Ash or Herald of Ice? I know Herald of Ash is your recommended build, but I would like to know why. HoI is decent because this is a crit build and when I crit(esp with Assasin's Mark) the explosion from HoI have decimated entire packs. I just want to ask why HoI isn't in the recommended section.
