Works fine, just sucks that the servers itself is located in Romania so an exceptional delay is present still, but useable. Anyone able to get some free US servers?

I've been looking around myself and this one might work best for reducing lag for US/UK VPN users but I havent personally tried it myself. Just follow the instructions they provide. Give it a go and let us know if it works! http://www.justfreevpn.com/how-to-setup-free-vpn/

It looks like when they state to enter the address as "xx.justfreevpn.com", you want to replace the "xx" with "us" or "uk" depending which you are closer to. "xx" is just a placeholder in this case.

Everytime i try to open the POE i get 'unable to locate the patching server' and then it exits out. This sucks big time, only time i can actually get to play this game is in the night and the night time is when there is high server load and i cannot connect. :(

Same results. The Romanian server works, though. But the lag is horrible.

Just another free VPN option available in-case it wasn't mentioned. I tried it out with another game and it worked fine (for the most part anyway).]

You just download it, install it, and run it, and it handles the connection. You may need Java 32-bit installed to use it (it didn't want to accept my Java SDK 64-bit install).

This works okay enough, drops me around 180-200 which is playable. Thnx :P
I started using this yesterday, it worked perfect but today i get disconnected all the time. What should i do? Thanks
So.. when i started playing today without the VPN i had 50 ping without any spike lag, at around 17.30-18.00 (GMT +1) the lag came back and i had to use the VPN again, thoughts?
Just curious, will this help at all with "networklayer.com" lag issues? I ask because the lag spikes have been pretty bad, but it all seems to come from this "networklayer.com" hop, which i'm guessing is their server host?

I get those annoying spikes a lot, and after running WinMTR for a while, it shows i'm losing 1/4 of my packets at this one spot:

Has anyone who's had the same problem tried the VPN? If so does it fix it or just crap out at the same spot? I don't have this problem with any other game i play :(
They need to remove this as a sticky or put a serious addendum with it.If you try to login to your game account now with an vpn running it is going to require you to contact GGG for an unlock code. That is as of the most recent patches.
What's the catch with free VPN's? I have 100 MB/s connection and generate more than a terabyte of traffic every month, and they should multiply that by 2 if they are running a proxy! Just how much traffic can physically "fit" into cables of VOXILITY-SRL Datacenter - it cannot be infinite, so there surely must be something they do not tell...
Hi. I got the justfreevpn installed and connected, now how do I tell the game to connect through it instead of the isp? I'm in the hospital overnight and really want to play :(
This, or any other VPN, helps with the perpetual "unlock code"-issue. But it's a bandaid fix.
